Chapter 8 - Lets Have A Ball

   I finally reached the ballroom. I walk up to Ciek and gave him a bow. "Here is your tea Ciel." I poured his favorite tea Earl Gray, in a cup that matched the silverware that was laid out on the table. "(Your Name), did you do all this?" Ciel asked looking a bit surprised. "Actually, the gro--" I was cut off by Finnie.

"Yea she did! She had a little help from us but she did all of this."

"Yes she did."

"Yea, she did great."Finnie, Mey-Rin, and Baldroy added. I gave them a smile of joy. "Oh Ciel, the manor looks quite clean. It not very cute but its clean. We should have a ball since it looks so nice." Elizabeth squealed with excitement. "I think it's a great idea. Besides the manor is now rebuilt. It would be a waste not to celebrate." Madam Red said with joy. "Oh yes. I think it should be in honor of (Your Name)'s hard work." Mey-Rin said with excitement. The rest agreed. I jumped at the sound of that. "Um, no thanks guys. It's nice of you but Iim not a big fan of balls." I said giving a shrug. "I think thats a wonderful idea Mey-Rin." I heard Sebastian's voice. I looked behind me and he was at the top of the stairs. I gave him a frown to signal him to be quiet about it. "Fine, we'll have a ball and (Your Name) can be the guest of honor." Ciel said giving a sigh. "Ciel, do we really need to have a ball? Arnt you busy?" I asked trying to find reasons for there not to be a ball. "No, not tomorrow. The queen hasnt quite given me anything yet. I have a few things to do tomorrow but I dont see why we cant have a ball. I dont want to have one but since the manor is rebuilt I guess its a good time to have it." He said sipping his tea. Elizabeth was jumping in glee. I then froze up. I looked back at Sebastian and he just gave me a devilish smile. He knew I was mad. "Excuse me master Ciel but I think im going to head to my room if thats okay with you." I said feeling angry. I clenched my fists. He nodded and waved his hand as to signal me to go. Without anything further said I made my way up the stairs until I reached Sebastian. I gave him an annoyed stare and continued to walk to my room.   I opened the door and slammed it shut. I took a deep breathe and slid my back against the door and fell to the floor resting my head on my knees. "A ball ... in my honor ... why? Ciel hates balls why would he throw one? I guess its to please Elizabeth or its to bring the nobles here at the manor." I thought. I gave out a sigh and hunched my back. In that moment all my exhaustion hit me all at once. I noticed I smelled a little bit too. "I need a shower." I mumbled. I opened my closet and there I seen something very strange. "All my cloths are here. All the cloths from my bedroom ... there here. How? Did they teleport with me? This is all just insane but it is what it is I guess. I picked out a long sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts. Before I reached my hand towards the door knob  I heard a knock on the door.   

   I opened the door to see Sebastian standing there. I gave out a sigh of annoyance. "What now?" I asked feeling annoyed. "I was just checking on you. You left all of a sudden. You didnt seem to happy." He said still giving me a smile that was eenjoying my annoyance. "Its doesnt look like you like the idea of having a ball. Women would be dieing to attend a Phantomhive ball. Why arnt you interested?" He took a step closer to me and I took a step back. We're playing this game again. He ended up passing me and closing the door. At that point it looked like I had to answer. I turned around to face him and I straightened up my posture. "I dont like balls because I dont like people. I dont like dressing up and I dont know how to dance. Even if I knew how to dance I wouldnt do it. The worst part is that I dont like being the center of attention. Why did you have to say anything? Ciel was just about to say no to the idea." I said with anger. "Because I knew you didnt like the idea. I guess you could say its revenge for wanting to put yourself in danger." He said looking a little more serious. I rolled my eyes. "Fine, whatever. Ill dress up and go but I wont dance. Now, can you tell me were the bathroom is? Im taking a shower." I turned my back to him as I asked. "Its the sscond to last door on your left." He stated. Without anything further said I left the room and made my way to the bathroom.   The bathroom was pretty and well taken care of. The bottom of the wall had a dolphin design going acrossed it. The shower had a pretty shade of blue for a curtain. On instinct I went lock the door but there was no lock on it. That bugged me but I didnt let it get to my head. I turned the shower setting to hot water. I loved ttaking hot showers sometimes. The burn of the water to my mind off things. It would hurt but it help. I took my cloths of and jumped in. The hot water hurt at first but then I learned to enjoy it. Once it took my mind off everything I turned the water settings to warm. It was peaceful. Just listening to the water hit my back some what brought me at peace.   I turned the shower off and stood in the shower for a minute or two. I didnt want to leave the shower. It was keeping me relaxed. Then my body jerked in shock of the sound oc the bathroom door opening. I was no longer In the mood I was in before. I peeked my head over the curtain and there I saw Sebastian smiling and humming to himself. I was then filled with rage. "Sebastian what the hell are you doing in here!?" I yelled in anger. My reaction seemed to make him a little more happy. "Oh, I forgot you were in here. My bad." He said sarcastically.  "Get out!" He didnt budge he was taking the towels and sswitching them with new ones. "Ill be on my way now. Enjoy yourself." He said giving out a chuckle and leaving. As soon as the bathroom door shut I opened the curtain and wrapped myself in a towel. I started wiping my face. I was trying to calm myself down. I knew exactly why he did it to. He did it to make me angry. I slipped on my cloths and quickly left the bathroom. My heart was still pounding. He knew I was in the shower and the water was off. "Thank god I was still in the shower. Was he waiting for me to get out of the shower for him to walk in on me?" I thought. A chill ran down my spine at the thought of it. I entered my room and laid down on my bed. I stared up at the ceiling. I couldn't fall asleep. I was to full of adrenaline rushing in my system. I decided to get up and take a walk.
