I shut my eyes and wrapped my hands around my stomach tight. It didn't hurt as badly as I was expressing it but I definitely didn't like it. I took a deep breath, let go of my stomach, and opened my eyes to see Grell and Sebastian going at it. "Oh Bassy Its almost Christmas! I can see it now, you and I, by the fire with our lips mashed together under the mistletoe! I just cant wait! Take me!" Grell leaped out at him with his arms wide open. Of course Sebastian had dodged it though leaving Grell scraping his face against the ground. "That is disgusting but of course that would be coming from a reaper such as yourself." I began to laugh. There was no way I could stay in the grumpy mood I was in while watching that scene go down. "God I love Grell. I cant stay mad at him." I thought. I approached Grell and Sebastian. Sebastian was grabbing Grell by his hair with his left hand and the death scythe in his other hand. "Please! Not my hair! I just got it done!" I pleaded. I just kept on giggling. I placed my hand on Sebastian's chest and nodded. He let go of Grell's hair and lowered his arm with the death scythe in it. I knelled down to poor Grell who was laying on the gowned helpless. I offered my hand to him. "What do you want?" Grell mumbled with dirt coming out of his mouth. I laughed once more. "You don't want your hair to be completely ruined do you? And I see you changed the fabric in your cloths. It would be a shame if they were to be ruined over something as silly as this." I stated. I could still remember the touch of Grell's clothing from our first encounter in the beginning when he tried to kill me in an ally. I didn't really get a feel to his cloths this time but they have that shine to it. He must have switched some of the things he normally wears to silk.
He reached for my hand and I helped him up. "Y-You, you noticed? No one ever notices." He mumbled and crossed his arms. If I were still human I probably wouldn't have noticed but I was glad that I was on his good side for the moment being. "Well of course you look absolutely fabulous." I said. He gave off a slight blush. Sebastian seemed quite surprised. "Well, yes of course!" He jumped up in glee. I rolled my eyes and turned my stare back to Sebastian. Grell pride the scythe out of Sebastian's hand and held it over his shoulder. I dusted off Grell's shoulders noticing dust. "Grell, Sebastian and I are busy, and I'd appreciate that you don't piss me off anymore this evening. I have things to tend to and I don't want anyone ruining them." Grell began to peer into my face. That was until Sebastian had gripped onto his shoulder and pushed him away. He stood next to me staring at Grell. "Can I join you two? I'm not busy. William isn't going to be happy. He might have to punish me ... oh yes." Grell had trailed off into his own imagination. "You're sick." I thought. I had no room to talk though. I had my ships, so many of them. I gave out a sigh. "Yeah... I don't care." I spoke. Sebastian looked at me with displeasure but he didn't try to fight me on the subject. Grell came back to reality and scooted next to Sebastian. "Well first, what are we going to do about the ornaments Grell had broke?" I said getting annoyed by the thought of it. "You leave that to my my dear." He whispered into my ear. "Why the secrets Bassy?" Grell said peering into Sebastian's face but he just shoved him off, with me giving off a soft laugh. Sebastian walked over to the carriage and picked up the two boxes of ornaments that were in the back. We started to walk to our destination and the whole time Grell rambled about several pointless things. I listened to each and everyone of them though. I was quite intrigued. Sebastian on the other hand not so much.
Grell was about to open the manor door until I gripped onto his shoulder which caused him to go stiff and look back at me. "Grell if you're coming, you have to be silent. People are sleeping and the last thing we need you to do is cause a fuss. So please, keep quiet. You're lucky you're even here." I spoke giving him an evil stare. He gulped with a nod. I let go of him and we walked in. "So Sebastian, what is first?" He set the boxes down in front of me and opened them. I was absolutely befuddled. Everything was in one piece. "How did you manage to recover everything Sebas-Chan?" Grell asked. He seemed awe struck. I was too. "How did he manage to fix everything without me even knowing about it?" I thought. "Im just simply one hell of a butler." He spoke with a little smile appearing on his face. :Hey Sebastian, will you light the room up for me?" He nodded and did as asked. The tree looked even better when I could see it clearly.
I sat down next to the box and picked up the first boxed in ornament and opened it. I laughed noticing it was a cat ornament. I looked up at Sebastian who was hovering over me. "Here, hang this one up." He grabbed it by its hook and scanned it for a moment. He must have thought I was joking at first but he went over to the tree and hooked it on. "Oh! I want to hang one!" Grell yelled. "Whisper Grell." I wanted to yell at him but I made sure to stay quiet. I opened up another box. It was a regular plastic ornament. Perfect for Grell considering he might break a glass one. I put on a hook and gave it to Grell. "Sebas-Chan, I seem to be just a little to short to reach here. Would you pick me up?" Grell asked giving a wink. I bursted out in laughter. I looked over to Sebastian and he seemed annoyed. I nodded my head in the direction of Grell to signal Sebastian to go do it. He wasn't happy with my gesture. "Oh come one Sebastian, its Christmas. Lighten up and pick him up if you know what I mean." I spoke laughing. He gave out a sigh. He just couldn't refuse me. So he walked over to Grell and wrapped his arms around his waist, lifting him up to the spot Grell was trying to reach. You could tell Grell was shivering in excitement. I ship it but Sebastian is mine. I didn't feel a threat towards Grell though. Sebastian lifted Grell down and gave him a discussed stare. "Oh Sebastian, this is so romantic. Where is a mistletoe when you need one?" He said clasping his hands together. "Maybe ... I could set a mistletoe for him." I started to laugh. They both looked at me but Sebastian looked at me with suspicion. As if he knew I was up to no good. I give him a devilish smirk.
All morning we continued to put up ornaments. There were only a few more ornaments left for me to unbox. They were happily helping me set them up. I really was set on trying to get a mistletoe ready though. "Sebastian, I'm going to wash up. Ill be right back." I spoke. I ran up the stairs and ran to my room. I shut the door and what I had took out of my pocket was a little mistletoe I had slipped into my pocket without anyone noticing when we went shopping. I had to think what the plan was. I went into my closet and looked through my cloths. I had found a t-shirt of mine that had a loose strand on it. I tugged on it and luckily I got enough string to where I could hang it over there head. I tied a not in the center of it. I took a deep breathe and stepped outside my room. The sun was rising. The window at the end of the hallway had a bit of light shining through. "No time to lose." I thought. I tried to remain stealthy. I peeked around the corner. "I cant go down the grand stair way." I thought. The stair way branched off in to different ways. I was on the left side. I crouched and started running down the hall. I looked over the railing at the tree but, they were nowhere to be found. It was as if they had vanished. I got out of crouch mode and walked to the very end of the hall. I looked on the other side of the tree but no one was there. I gave out a sigh. I reached into my pocket to get the mistletoe. It wasn't there though. "Did it fall out of my pocket?" I wondered. I turned around but something was dangling in front of my face. It was the mistletoe with Sebastian holding it by the string. "How did yo-" I was cut off. Sebastian leaned down leaned down a little and kissed me. Of course I didn't hesitate to kiss back. "He beat me at my own little game." I thought. He leaned away with a smile on his face. "I believe this belong to you." He raised his hand down and placed the mistletoe in my hand. "How did you know? And where did Grell go?" I asked slipping the mistletoe back into my pocket. "Well, I had a feeling you were up to no good so I followed you. And Grell, well, lets just say he had a nice flight." I started to laugh a bit. "How did you follow me without me even detecting you? I would have sensed you. I always do." I stated. He pulled out this mini little jar with blue ashes in it. "Demon spice ... but how did you get your hands on that? The last time I saw that stuff was when Jack was around. You said it was rare." I was kinda confused. I knew Sebastian didn't have his hands on something such as that. "Well, before the conflict started between Jack and I, I had taken the spice from him." I folded my arms and rolled my eyes. "Hey, its almost time to wake Ciel up. You should get going. Oh and your gloves are on my bed. They are probably dry now." I said as he started to walk away. But as soon as he was going to turn past the corner he looked back at me and said, "Check your right coat pocket." He continued to walk off. I checked it and my black gloves were there. "Always one step ahead of me." I thought. I put my gloves back in my pocket and ran to my room.
I slipped off my jacket and put on my tail coat. I left my room and picked up my pace to the bathroom. Looked into the mirror and messed with my hair. I fixed my bow tie. I made sure I looked sharp. I splashed some water on my face and took a deep breathe. "I'm in Black Butler. This is my life now." The first time I thought about it I was scared and lost and now, I could say it happily. Id assume my family would be happy that I was happy. I'd hope. I left the bathroom and rushed down the hallway and to the stairs and who I found at the bottom of them was the gang. They were all gazing at the tree. They didn't even notice me. I walked down the steps and soon as I reached the bottom Baldroy must have heard me and he turned around looking at me with amazement. "(Your Name) ... did you do this?" He asked. The others eagerly waited for an answer. "Yeah, Sebastian and I put up the tree. I wanted to have Christmas tree in. It only felt necessary to do so for such a holiday." I said. I turned around and Sebastian and Ciel was standing there. Ciel looked at me shocked. As if ... He didn't know what to say. "I hope hes not angry." I thought. "(Your Name), why sis you put up a tree?" He asked. I didn't know why it was so hard to understand why I had put a tree up. "I put it up because Christmas is coming quite soon." I spoke as they walked down the steps. I was expecting him to scold me but instead he replied, "I-I ... I like it. Good thinking, and I bet Elizabeth is going to enjoy something like this happening." As soon as he said that I heard the manor doors open up from behind me. I turned around and approached the door. Elizabeth came running in with her arms open. I could tell Ciel was preparing for her to tackle him but shockingly her little arms went around me instead of the young master. I hugged back. "(Your Name)! Are you ready to go? Madam Red is in the carriage waiting for us. She would have came in but she is sick and-" She stopped talking and let go of me. Her gaze went to the tree. She didn't even notice when she walked in because of how excited she was. "This is amazing! Madam Red should have came in to see this!" She spoke. She walked passed me and approached Ciel. "Ciel, was this your idea?" She asked looking him in the eye. It seemed he didn't know what to say. He was kinda fazed. He didn't seem like himself this morning. He didn't seem sad, and he didn't seem happy. He didn't even have angry expression like usual. He just seemed blank. I nodded my head 'yes'. I wanted him to take the credit. Ciel would always want to make Elizabeth happy and when she thinks hes happy, she seems to always be happy. He seemed a little surprised. "Yes, I hope you like It Lizzie." I could tell Elizabeth was over whelmed with joy. "He even remembered to call her Lizzie." I thought. She threw her arms around him and hugged him. He didn't seem to hug back at first but he eventually did. "Well I'm off to go shopping with (Your Name)! I'll be spending the night here! We are going to celebrate when we get back! Happy birthday!" She said as she released him. "Oh shit." I was so caught up with everything else that I forgot it was his birthday. He didn't seem to happy when she mentioned birthday. "Okay (Your Name), lets head out!" She spoke. "Uh, hold on I have to do something real quick. Ill meet you in the carriage." She nodded in acceptance and she walked out the door. I moved in a fast pace passed Sebastian and Ciel and up the stairs. Went down the hall and went into Ciel's study. I took out the card that was in my inside pocket. I took it out of my pocket and grabbed a nearby pen and started to write. As soon as I was done. I placed it on his desk and left the room rushing downstairs and out the door saying my farewells to everyone. Once I entered the carriage it appear Madam Red had fallen asleep. I remaind quiet and sat down. "She must be really sick." I thought. Elizabeth didn't start conversation so I wasn't going to either I was just going to keep to myself considering Madam Red was sleeping. "What am I going to buy for everyone?" I wondered.
