I finished cleaning up the broken glass. I polished the stair railings and I did a little dusting around the manor. It took me an hour or more to do it. I was tired. I normally wouldn't do this back at home. I'd sit around and watch tv or play video games. Here there isn't really much to do, but I feel like I have the energy to do stuff. Even if it isn't something I like. I was getting paid to do it too so I guess you could say I'm motivated. "I hope Mey-Rin wakes up happy. This saved her a lot of trouble." I mumbled. "I might as well see what Baldroy is up to." I thought.

When I entered the kitchen Baldroy was nowhere to be found. I walked in and I saw that there was a recipe book sitting there wide open on the counter. I walked towards it and it seemed to have multiple recipes for curry. "Curry? I've never had it. Mom definitely hasn't made it before." I thought. "What are you doing?" Baldroy came through the kitchen door. "I should be asking you the same thing. You should have started working on dinner by now. I came here to check on you and help out." I said still scanning the page full of recipes. "Well, I kinda blew up the kitchen ... again. So I had to clean up and start from scratch." He said scratching the back of his neck. "Well, you should stop using dynamite to speed things up. I'm not a great cook what-so-ever but I do know that you should never rush. My mom is a wonderful cook. That's one thing she taught me, and that was to never rush." He nodded and agreed. He reached for a cigarette. I watched the puff of smoke leave his mouth and evaporate onto the ceiling.  "Shall we then? Ill get everything we need out. You get the pot and water ready." I said and he gave me a quick nod and started to follow my order.

In no time at all, we were on a role. We shared a few laughs. We learned a few things from each other. He told me about his past which I already knew about but I listened anyway. He asked me about mine. I was still young. I was only (Your Age). It's not like anything special has happened to me yet so I tried to choose my words carefully when talking about my life. "Yeah, you've been through a lot more than I have. I'm just a weird person. Strange things happen to me." As I finished my sentence the kitchen door flew open. Who came through the door was no other than Finnie and Mey-Rin. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of them. "What smells so good?" Finnie asked as he took in the aromas that swarmed the room. So did Mey-Rin. She ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I wasn't quite aware why. "Umm, Mey-Rin?" I tried to speak up. She was holding me so tight that she took some air out of me. "Mey-Rin, what are you doing? She's helping me cook right now." Baldroy said as we were trying to pull her off me. "(Your Name), the manor looks great! Yes, it does!" She said as she released me. "Why are you thanking me? You're the one who did it." I gave her a wink. She just passed me a huge smile. "I can't take credit for the great job you did." I flipped my bangs out of my face and gave her a smile. "Well, ill tell you what. How about you and Finnie help out with dinner and when dinner is set and ready you guys can help me tidy up the manor. I'll teach you guys how to have fun with it." I said giving a reassuring smile. "Yes let's do it," Finnie added. "Hmm, (Your Name) do you really think it's a good idea? We're not an easy group to tame." I looked back at Baldroy who just put out his cigarette and he gave me an unsure look. "Don't worry about it Baldroy. I got this." He gave a smile and we all began to finish up on dinner.

We set the table and made sure everything was prepared for when Ciel would get home. The table was set up beautifully. Finnie picked beautiful flowers out of the garden and slipped them into a vase, Mey-Rin put out the fanciest plates and silverware we had, and after I and Baldroy finished the final touches on the curry we called up Lady Elizabeth and Madam Red to join us for dinner. "Madam Red and Lady Elizabeth should be here any minu--" I was cut off by the sound of the manor door swinging open. "Ciel!?" I looked at the door and the one and only Lady Elizabeth and Madam Red were standing there. I approached the door and kneeled with my hand on my chest. "Hello, Lady Elizabeth. Hello, Madam Red. Thank you for coming at such short notice. Ciel is not here at the moment. He will be here shortly. He had to run an errand. I'm glad you could join us for dinner." I said. "Oh, and who might you be?" Madam Red asked with a cold stare. She walked up to me and put her index finger and thumb on my chin and made me look at her. I stood back up with my hand still on my chest. "My apologies, I'm (Your Name). I'm one of Ciel's butlers- I mean maids." I spat out. I kept forgetting I'm supposed to tell everyone im a maid at this manor. "You sure don't look like a maid." She said eyeing me from head to toe. "She's right. I was wearing a white button up shirt with a black vest. I had black dress pants on and a pair of converse I had been wearing since I got here. To finish it off I had a pair of black gloves on. One just like Sebastians' but mine was black. I refused to wear a dress so I went out and bought myself something to work in." I thought. I gave her a nod and a smile. "My apologies Miss Red but, please would you make yourself at home." I gave her another bow and started to walk towards the table and pulled out a chair for her. "She seems very sassy today. Even her walk was sassy. Maybe she doesn't like me. Hmm, I'll have to change that." I thought. She and Lady Elizabeth took a seat. "That isn't a very cute work outfit." Elizabeth pointed out. I nodded to show her that I agreed. I liked what I was wearing but she and I have completely different taste. "Honestly being a Phantomhive butler made me feel badass. I was good at being one too." I thought. "I hope you don't mind but the group and I are going to finish tidying up the manor to please master Ciel. I think it might make him happy to see his manor clean. So please excuse us for a moment." I gave them both a bow. "Of course." Elizabeth nodded giving out a giggle.   I walked the group up to Ciel's study. It was the only room I didn't touch. It was quite dusty and unclean in there. I didn't touch it because I wanted to do something so important like this with them. "What are we doing in the master's study?" Baldroy asked folding his arms and tapping his foot on the ground impatiently. "We are going to clean this room up together. Ciel might be mature for his age, but I don't know one kid who picks up after themselves. So we are going to work together. I have faith In you guys. Besides I'm going to show you a fun way to clean. I mean it's fun working together with friends in general but I can make it a little bit better." I said and I took out my phone. They all looked confused by what I pulled out but I didn't say anything about it. I went through my music library and tried to find something fun to listen to. I finally found something to listen to (At the end of the chapter). I started to play it and they all didn't seem into it at first. "Come on guys let's start dusting, picking up books, and mopping." I ordered them and they saluted me and said, "Yes ma'am." I gave out a laugh at their response. Then we all started to work and it looked like they were all having fun with it. I started to clean the window and clean the desk, Mey-Rin was dusting, Baldroy was mopping, and Finnie was picking up and straightening up the book shelves. In no time at all the study was looking cleaner than ever. I gave them all high-fives and laughed with them. "We didn't mess anything up this time," Finnie said all joyful. "Because you guys had fun with it." I started dancing around to the music. They all besides Finnie started laughing and dancing along. Finnie just stood there and looked at us strangely. "Come on lighten up Finnie. Have some fun." I said and without noticing it I automatically reached for Finnie's hands and made him dance with me. His cheeks went red. I started to laugh at the moment being. Suddenly I heard the front door of the manor open. "Oh no, we're not done yet! You guys serve Ciel and ill stay here and pick up the rest of the study and make his tea." They all nodded and rushed out the door.

When I opened the door of the manor I couldn't believe my eyes. The manor was cleaner than ever. They even made a meal without breaking anything or causing destruction, I looked down at Ciel and he looked as surprised as I did. He had a smirk on his face though. "Hmm, (Your Name) might be as good as you if not better." He eyes me and laughs. He was trying to insult me which is expected. (Your Name) did something I failed to do. "It seems (Your Name) is more skilled than we thought," I said. "Ciel!" Lady Elizabeth came rushing towards Ciel. She began to twirl him around in circles. It was almost entertaining in my opinion. "Welcome back master!" Mey-Rin and the others ran up to us and bowed. "Mey-Rin, where can I find (Your Name)?" I asked which made her jump a bit. "Uh, s-she's up in Ciel's study. She said she was going to make the master's tea." She replied. I then turned to face Ciel. "Excuse me for one moment young master. I'm going to check up on (Your Name)." He looked to frustrated to answer. Lady Elizabeth was still embracing him. "Elizabeth! Get off me!" He gave out a week shout. "I said call me Lizzie." She said giving him a small frown. "Lady Elizabeth,  give the boy some space he just got home." Madam Red spoke up. She finally released him. I tapped Ciel on the shoulder. "Young master, could you excuse me for a moment?" He just gave me a cold stare. I gave him one in return until he answered. "Fine. I'll stay here and keep things under control." I then made my way up the stairs and down the hallway to Ciel's study. When I entered the room she was nowhere to be found. I started to walk further down the hallway until a door opened up in front of me. Suddenly I felt someone bump into my chest.

I looked up then I realized that I bumped into Sebastian. "Oh, Sebastian!  I'm sorry I didn't see you there. I was In a rush." I apologized. Luckily I didn't pour any of Ciel's tea anywhere. I started to rush past him but I felt him grab my arm. I turned around in surprise. "Yes, Sebastian?" He stared straight into my eyes. His stare can sometimes be overwhelming. It was like a trans. I loosened up a bit. "How did you do it?" He asked. I was just confused by his question. "How did you do something I couldn't? How did you get that group to make the manor look this nice and to get them to do everything they were told done right without destroying anything? How did you do it?" He asked looking baffled. "Maybe I'm just one hell of a butler too," I said giving out a slight chuckle. He looked serious. He didn't seem to like my answer. I straightened up my posture and spoke up. "Sebastian, you pressure them. Instead of making it fun for them you scare them to where they mess everything up. You get into their head. I taught them how to have fun." His mood lightened up. The atmosphere was no longer stiff. "I wonder if it's possible If I could teach you how. I hope that you'll let me. One of these days. Maybe I could teach you how to have fun, to feel, to be happy, to feel human. I hate the fact that you don't have emotions but I guess If I had the choice not to feel anything I guess I'd pick that path too." I gave him a half smile and started to walk away from him feeling a little sad.
