The Babyshower

We woke up the next morning Donnie and Jenny in the kitchen with the kids, Donnie had decided to cook everyone breakfast well they let Joe and I sleep. No sooner I reached the top of the stairs this amazing smell of coffee and bacon hit me. I headed down Kids were in the family room on Joey's Xbox Donnie and Jenny at the island drinking coffee,

"Morning"

"Hey preggers"

"what smells so good"

"Waffles and bacon and eggs, sit shorty Ill get you a plate"

"Thanks D no eggs though".

Jenny walked around the island and handed me a cup of coffee before putting her hand on my stomach leaning over talking to the baby

"hello my little one this is Aunt Jenny, you be good for mommy today for her baby shower.

I giggled, Joey walked down stairs a smile crossed his face when he heard me giggle.

"What you giggling at SeeSee"

"Jenny"

he leaned down I feel his lips softly on mine and my heart flutters.For some reason when he looks and me with those blue eyes and that smile lately I just cant control it.

"So you ready for today See"

"Yeah, so what you have planned for your dadcholor party"

"Dunno D wont tell me."

"Im telling you what D there better not be no damn strippers there Ill beat you ass"

"relax of course there wont be Jenny would kill me."

"good"'

I leaned back in my chair and smiled. It turned out to be short lived though since Jenny insisted we needed to hurry up and get ready to go. I headed up to the bedroom and quickly showered . I was fine till it come time to get dressed her I stood in this huge walk in closet filled with clothes and all I could to stare at all these clothes I had all from the top end designers so straight off the runway that Joey surprised me with when he surprised me with a trip to NYFW. I get it Im pregnant and no way was I going to stay a size 2 but no one seems to understand exactly how hard this really is on me. It wasnt long till there was a knock on the door and it opens slowly,

"SeeSee sweetie you almost ready"

Jenny steps in and right away notices the tear in my eye,

"See babe whats wrong"

"its just Im a huge freaking whale, here I sit staring at my closet with all these beautiful clothes and I cant wear any of them."

"awwww See its ok its all because your pregnant, you'll wear them again and you'll be just as hot as you always been. The Joe really wont be able to keep his hands off you."

"Please how do you figure that one"

"seriously Sierra god your difficult, Not only was he in love with you before this baby after this baby you cant imagine the feelings that are going to shift in him, you think he was head of heels before. Your giving him something so incredible, something so life changing that the bond you two already have is going to strengthen so much that he is going to move heaven and earth for you and you cant tell me you wouldnt for him."

"I totally would without a second thought"

"come on lets see what we can pick out we gotta jet."

Jenny walked in and with a smile she got to work rifling through all the maternity clothes. I missed this I used to do this kind of stuff with Kimmy but as time passes I know our friendship would never be the same, at this rate I wouldnt even call it a friendship after yesterday. Jenny found a cute little lavender dress I didnt even remember I had, I quickly got dressed and Jenny insisted on doing my makeup and we headed out, Joe and Donnie had already left a half a hour before to get on the road his dadchlor party was going to be in the Valley and its kind of a long drive.

We pulled up to Nobu a short while later, Jenny had rented the entire place out for the day for the babyshower. When we walked in Shuki was hard at work and the place looked amazing.

"Jenny its beautiful"

"I know right I cant take the credit, Shuki did it."

soon everyone started to show up, it filled up quickly Jenny had invited about 60 people most I didnt even know for some reason so I had no idea why they were invited but Jenny insisting it had to be done. Everything was going off without a issue and then Kimmy shows up.

Kim walked in dripping in Versace, she looked like she was trying so hard to be someone she isnt. She isnt this high end snob, she has always been this girl hometown from North Carolina. I never changed up, yes I wear nice things and everything but I have always been that way, I always knew there was more for me than what North Carolina had to offer, I didnt act on it because of my fear of failing. It took me wanted to be with Joe to move out of that comfort zone. She came in and the snob kicked in. I tried to ignore it and focus on my guests on my baby shower but even though it was supposed to be about me Kimmy making it about her. I continued to ignore that all changed when I began opening the gifts for baby Nathan and phone began to ring, all I remember is her say "Oh Im not doing anything important just at a baby shower for one of Danny's band mates fuck buddies." The room suddenly went quite, I look over at Jenny who was sitting next to me shock and hurt evident on my face all I seen was anger on Jenny's and I never seen her get mad. Jenny stands up,

"Alright Kim get out leave!!"

"Excuse me"

"You heard me, LEAVE!! You obviously dont want to be here your not going to ruin this day for Sierra"

"You seriously want me to leave, Danny isnt going to like this"

"YES LEAVE and Danny we will be talking too. Leave now before I have security escort you out."

"Sierra seriously your going to let that trailer trash whore kick me out?"

I stood up

"Kim get out"

"are you really serious right now"

"GOODBYE KIM!"

"Whatever!!"

Kim stormed out and I sighed as I fell back against the chair. I cant believe that this just happened and at my baby shower of all things, how can she do this to me. The remainder of the baby shower it seemed everyone tried to tread lightly but lets be really everyone knew there was a elephant in the room and everyone knows they just witnessed the final nail in the coffin of our friendship. At this point I just wanted to go home and have Joe wrap his arms around me and make it better.
