The next two weeks passed and the adjustment seemed to be harder than Joe and I anticipated.  Today was the last day the nurse was here and between having her here and Nathan I was packing to head over to Boston in the morning. Both Joey and I are sleep deprived and he is already back into studio mode which starts next week. Nathan  Started off for the first day or two was the easiest baby Joey and I thought we could do this no problem them on that third day it was as if a switch flipped. Nathan never wanted to sleep cried incessantly. We took him three times to the peditrician who said it was colic and changed his formula. Joey and I have been up non stop trying to calm him, rocking, bouncing him spending hours upon hours driving around town to try to get him to asleep we were exhusted. Being as tired as we were it turned into several petty fights. I didnt think the lack of sleep would turn into just one hostile living enviorment but it has.

It was 6 am and we were sitting at LAX waiting on the private plan he had chartered to take us home to Boston and Nathan was crying non stop, I did everything I could think off to calm him but he wasnt having it. Joey snapped,

"God See will you shut him up I cant even think. its fuckin six in the morning no one wants to here that."

"Fuck Joe he isnt calming down if you think its that easy come over here and help. Were in a private waiting area its just us."

"besides the point thats all he ever does anymore."

"OK and he is a baby I cant be the only one caring for him you are his father too."

"Who you telling, I was the one driving him all around the city last night well you slept."

"And I did it all day well you slept."

"See seriously"

"Yes Joe seriously!"

"This is ridiculous"

"what you want me to do"

"I want..."

Just then the captain walks up,

"Excuse me Mr McIntyre, Mrs Mcintyre"

"Miss Rose."

Joey shot me a almost shocked look.

"Were fueled and ready for take off whenever your ready. Joe grabbed Nathan and he instantly shut up, I looked over and Joe who gave me a smile and my agitation instantly stopped. He mouthed sorry before grabbing my hand leading me out the door. We situated and prepared for the eight and a half hour flight to Boston. Nathan slept for five of the eight and a half hours of the trip which gave me a chance to get some sleep.  When we arrived we were met at the airport by Tom and Kay who had tears in her eyes right away as we stepped through the doors with the baby. We have had several conversations since Kay found out I was pregnant about how she thought she never get grandchildren from Joey because he couldnt settle down. We have yet to tell Kay and Tom that we were engaged wanting to do it in person, I can only hope they will be happy once we tell them. The trip was short from the airport back to Jamacia Plains.

We walked in and Kay asked me to follow her up the stairs, she reached for the door that sat next to Joe's old bedroom. Joe had followed us up bringing up our bags well Tom had sat with Nathan in his arms downstairs. When she turned the knob and pushed that door open I wasnt prepared for what I had seen. There was a beautiful nursery all done in blue and teddy bears. I looked over tears in my eyes,
