"We're strangers but I don't feel like strangers"

My friends would always ask me, "Why do you like him, you barely know him." I would say something like, "He's cute, and I think he likes me too." Although really I felt like, he was someone I've known before. I didn't say it, because I knew they wouldn't understand.
