I'm waiting

"I feel like that possum in the middle of the road 'playing' dead"

I was looking out the car window, and I saw this possum laying right in the middle of the road. "Please don't run him over" I thought. As the car passed right above, the possum who was okay I even saw him move, a little. I just couldn't figure out why the possum was just there.

I soon started to think, that I'm a lot like that possum. Just waiting. Whether that's for a miracle, or it all to be over.
