This is kind of another part of "Boy Next Door" but not directly. So if you don't remember that exact storyline, it's no big deal, but you should give it a read before reading this part. Anyways I hope you all enjoy.

Kara had her bubbly smile spread across her face as Alex, her nearly 1-year-old son, toddled around your living room. It had been about two years since Ben had proposed to you, and not long after your engagement did Kara and Josh announce they were pregnant. It was pretty perfect timing though because you got a very adorable ring bearer for your wedding.

You watched in awe as Alex toddled from Kara to his godmother, you. You didn't know how you could love this tiny little boy who could only speak gibberish, but ever since Kara asked you and Ben to be his godparents, you knew you would love him forever. When he reached the comfort of your arms, his legs gave way, causing him to go into a fit of giggles as you picked him up and sat him in your lap. Once he was done laughing he comfortably snuggled himself into you, making you happier than you could've imagined. Kara helped you up as you two moved to the couch to talk.

You gently rubbed Alex's back as he fell asleep in your arms. Kara couldn't help but pull out her phone and take a few photos. You smiled as you turned slightly so she could get a good picture. "Look at you two," Kara cooed.

The smile on your face grew brighter as you looked down at the little boy asleep in your arms. Kara stood up, putting Alex in the pack-n-play so you two could have a proper conversation.

"So has the married life been treating you? You guys truly are a great couple," Kara said looking up at you from the coffee cup as she sipped.

As you reflected on your wedding, and your hazy honeymoon you couldn't help but smile. "It's been really great. Ben is really happy with the new show and I've just been focusing on work and it just really helps our relationship," you replied. You looked out the windows, watching the gentle snowfall. "How have you Josh been, I mean with the parent life and everything," you asked as the child in question slept peacefully just a few feet away.

"Tiresome, to say the least. But yeah, it's been really great. I mean look at him. He's like a mini Josh. He's going to break some hearts," Kara cooed. You noticed the glow that almost emanated off of her was slightly entertaining. It definitely distracted from the bags under her eyes. You felt your stomach churn, but not in the 'give me some food' way, but the 'get this food out of me' way.

"Can you give me just one sec Kar," you said more than you asked. She just smiled and nodded, picking up her phone to most likely to text Josh. Once you got to the bathroom you immediately hit the floor, your stomach pushing its contents out as you hunched over. The hurt and burning soon dissolved as you sat against the wall. You scrolled through your phone for a moment before feeling another wave of nausea. Hunching over once again and feeling that heavy feeling as you threw up.

As you took a sip of water, cleaning up your face and opened your phone to the Flo app. You unlocked the app and saw the dreaded "22 DAYS LATE" and soon that heavy feeling returned to your stomach.

When Ben and Josh returned all of you said your goodbyes as Kara and Josh packed their things to return back to their home. You sent them off and sat down with Ben for a moment. You sat with your back against his chest, his hands slowly running through your hair as he looked down at you. "You're beautiful, you know that right?"

The smile that formed on your face was impossible to hide. "Ever since I met you I've known that Ben." You looked up to him, his lips gently being placed against yours.

"Now I don't know about you, but I am starving," Ben laughed slightly as he said it, opening his phone to figure out what to do for dinner.

"How about that pizza place down the street? You can place the order and I can run down and get it while you straighten up here. I need to get out of the house for a bit anyway," You suggested, earning a nod of agreement from him. You got up from the couch and slipped on a pair of Converse, grabbing your jacket and purse before bundling up. You took the few steps out the door onto the street before being greeted by the brisk air.

You quickly made your way to the corner store, knowing which aisle you were headed for. You grabbed 3 different tests. 'Safe rather than sorry' you mumbled over and over again in your head. The girl at the register rang you up with a cheery smile, similar to Kara's. It was relaxing at this time of stress. You hid the tests in your bag and hustled to the pizza place, picking up your to-go order.

Once you and Ben had eaten you decided to shower and change while he did the dishes. You turned the hot water on, quickly peeing on all three tests before hopping in the shower. The steam engulfing you. You ran the loofa all over your body but instinctively ran your hand across your lower stomach, your fingers gently resting atop the skin.  "If you're in there little bean, just know that you already have all the love the world has to offer."

Once you were finished you wrapped the towel around you, trying to move as quickly as possible so you didn't freeze. You had flipped the tests over once you took them so you wouldn't get distracted. Slipping the sweatpants and the comfort of Ben's old hoodie on you walked out to grab your fuzzy socks before looking at the tests. Your stomach had started to turn in knots again, bringing all the nerves and emotions up.

"a baby?" You heard the voice whisper from behind you. As you turned around you were overwhelmed with everything you saw. Ben was standing in the bathroom doorway with some sweats on, but no shirt. His face was confusing to read, and then you saw it. The pregnancy test with tiny black print that read 'Positive'.

"a baby."

It was impossible for both of you to speak. You knew you wanted this, just didn't know it would come this soon. You and Ben both laid on your backs on the bed, your hands gently resting in each other. Eventually Ben moved, his head gently resting just above your stomach. "Hey baby," he spoke the words softly, his hand gently resting itself in the right spot as if he was cradling a bump that wasn't there quite yet.

"I love you Ben."

"Positive?"

"Positive."

Hi! So I hope you all like this little imagine. I kind of want to do more parts to it so let me know if I should write another part and make like a mini-series out of it. Maybe do something like "first ultrasound", "telling the family", "preparations", things like that. As always I love each and every one of you!
