Shot Through the Heart

Primary school

At eight a.m. Rinka woke up Yuna to get her ready for the day, styling her hair and dressing her while Ryuu made breakfast. To Ryuu, no one seemed really excited about the day. Yuna glumly ate her toast while playing around with the egg on her plate

"You okay, Yuna?" He asked the little girl

"I dont want to go to school" Yuna replied

"Why not?" Rinka asked her younger sister with concern

"I've never been, what if the kids are smarter than me, what if they don't like me, what if-"

She was cut of by Ryuu putting a hand on her shoulder

"I promise, you'll make friends and it doesn't matter what the other people think. "He looked to Rinka "Just choose one or two people who will matter."

"Focus on enjoying your time there, not wether people will like or dislike you" Rinka said reassuringly

The ride to the old school was quiet. Upon arrival Ryuu smiled to find that his first architectural design had stood as he planned it to. Of course there were a few changes the teens noticed during the walk to the principal's office. After they knocked the door, they were greeted with a hug from the old man, who explained that their design had lowered the utility Bill's, and now they were able to afford uniforms for the students, free of charge. While Rinka was filling out the enrollment form, a familiar round faced teenager walked in leading a little boy behind her

"SUMIRE!!" Rinka said, jumping to hug her old friend

While the teens caught up Yuna looked at the boy. He waved at her and she waved back
"Yuna, why dont you go play in the playground while we enroll you" Rinka suggested

"You too" the former Eclassman nudged to the boy
The two left the room and yuna sat on the merry-go-round. The boy walked towards her

"H-hi, I'm Jiroushiata Nakaitemora but that's a lot to say, so you can call me Kai. I'm Sumire's cousin. Do you want to play" the boy said leaning on the rail of the merry-go-round.

The girl nodded and stood next to him and they spun the merry-go-round and jumped on after a few minutes of stumbling around the fell and laughed about it. He challenged her to swing higher than him on the little swing set and she won. They played tag until crashing on one of the beanbags, out of breath and laughing.

"Kai, come on, we'reging to Hayami's place" Sumire says from across the floor

The kids follow their guardians to the car and, upon arrival at Rinka's apartment, play with Yuna's toys until dark, when Rinka drives everybody home. The little girl isnt as scared of school as she was earlier
