As she fell back a hand caught her arm, pulling her back up "Careful there, it's a long fall" A boy was smiling, she could tell even in the dark

"Nishouto?" Rinka guessed, staring with wide green eyes at his form

"The one and only. What are you doing up here, I thought you were heading back to the dorm..." his tone switched some, more serious, even worried.

"Could say the same to you, didnt you have papers to fill out?" She avoided the question like deku avoided using his legs.

"Eh, I have more time. And I thought I'd go for a walk...well, a climb....before heading to my room." He dug through his messenger bag for a moment before pulling out a lunch container "er, this was what I made for dinner over there, I nabbed some extra if you're hungry...oh, it's kinda chilled..sorry" he really was trying to do a nice thing

Rinka smiled, taking the...chicken? Maybe pork? It was a fried up meat, and it smelled alright so she wasnt gonna ask, she had something more pressing "Why would you choose this program. Even if you are a public threat...it would seem odd for you to want to join the trade of assassination."

He looked at the ground "it's what I know. It's about all I know how to do"

Rinka took a bite of the food, it was pork....and oddly delicious "You can cook. That's something."

He looked back over "well...yeah I can. But not as good as I can kill."

"Then I'd hate to be on your hit list. This is good food." She did try to make it sound like a compliment...she really did but kinda failed.

"Well, Thank you very much. Feeding these weirdos is like giving baths to a lot of twenty dogs. They're usually ungrateful even when they benefit." He stares off at the dorm building "but still. Somehow even when your freind was such a great snipe he was able to build something like that. He'll make a name for himself. A good one. I never will."

"Heh...neither will I" Rinka stated, taking another bite

"What do you mean" he looked over to her

"I...well, I'm not good at anything. Except hitting the target. I dont have any special skills...or talents." She realised the container, losing her appetite for the next peice

"Maybe you dont have to be good at something to be great. ERM, well that made me sound smart, I'm sorry that I'm not making any sense. I'm just saying the smartest people in the world were once called crazy. You see, your ability to succeed isnt solely based on your abilities. It is mostly based on effort." He shut up, knowing he was rambling on again

"I get what you're saying....and thanks, for th advise. You kinda are starting to sound like that stupid octopus." She smiled

"Stupid...Octopus...?" Visible confusion lit his face

"Yep. The most brilliant man alive." She smiled, knowing she wouldnt be making sense

"Anywho....The stars are shining bright tonight. Even the moon looks jealous." He stared up at them

"Yeah...the stars have always looked more beautiful on this mountain."

"Let's go, I know a place to watch them." He hopped down, parkouring the entire way to the entrance of the Forrest, Rinka keeping in step but taking her own route

The climbed the outer stairs to the roof of the dorm, before laying down to stare up at the vast universe, everything being so, so far away....yet right at their fingertips

"I seen rin walk away with Chiba by the way. If you want to talk, I'm here." He gave a reassuring look

"Well...I shouldn't be bothered." She answered, trying to avoid the question

"But you are." He didnt look at her, instead the sky above

"Yeah..." she said, sounding defeated

"Why?" He quizzed

"Because....I love him."
