Break

Three Sune Cycles Later

Favi grunted and fell over, stumbling up before being pushed back once again. With anger, she tackled down her spar partner before being slammed back into the ground. The whistle shrieked and split the air, making the partner get of the lynx and step back. A growl escaped the sandy feline and she stood up, glaring at the partner for a moment before looking back to the spar reporter.

"Favi, follow me, you, stay here for a moment."

From the looks of it, the canine was pretty angry. She ushered the yellow marked female to the side, the watching bifers heading to the spar partner. Once both the female lynx and the canine were in an isolated area, the bifer started pacing back and forth.

"You're supposed to be trying to get yourself up in a vulnerable situation, to find some form of instinct or figure out something to get yourself on your paws and to stun your opponent so you can pummel them. But over and over, you use your same techniques like your partner isn't going to expect them!"

"Well yeah, I don't know any other techniques! That's why I use the same ones over and over!" Favi retorted, her voice quickly turning to a snarl.

A deep sigh escaped the spar reporter and she shook her head.

"Maybe your trainer can help you with that. Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on you, after all, you do come from a background with no fighting experience."

The lynx gave a small nod, flicking her ears forward and back at the canine's words. That took a turn of events.

"Let's head back out. I'm sure Verso will come over to grab you by the scruff and take you away," a chuckle escaped their lips.

A smirk formed on Favi's face and she nodded her head. The both of them then headed back out in the open, the awaiting bifers watching with silence and anticipation. The spar recorder waved a hand of dismissal and allowed both Favi and her spar partner to head off on their way. Looking to the confused canine, the lynx gave a nervous smile and walked over to the wooden building closest to the area where ophoree sparred. Verso sat, watching as two younger and smaller ophoree snarled and growled at each other, his face filled with focus.

"Verso!" Favi called out, immediately catching the horned ophoris' attention. "Should we head out now?"

"Of course," the teal marked male rumbled.

He then stood up and looked to the lynx, the female giving a small smile. The large creature lowered his head and picked her up by the scruff before placing her on his back. She made herself comfortable and felt the ophoris move on his way to the slope that led up to the top of the cavern. Once they reached the top, the ophoris looked around, searching the sky for any of the other ophoree. After a moment, Verso snorted and headed on toward the secluded area in a forest that the group decided to meet up in during breaks. Favi enjoyed the breeze from the wind and the rest of not needing to walk. Her eyes began to relax as the walk continued a few moments longer before yowling as large teeth nipped her ear.

"Ow! What was that for?!" She snapped.

"We're here," the male purred in return.

Indeed, the both of them had made it to their meeting place in a short amount of time. As per usual, the trees were too young to tower over the ophoree, so Verso was beginning to lay down. Grumbling about her inconveniences, the lynx slid down the ophoris' barrel and slumped on the green grass.

"You didn't have to kick me off," she mumbled.

"Favi!" Jasar's voice called.

Perking up, the female lynx watched as Morning Flower stalked into view, the young cat waving to her cheerily. She couldn't help but smile as he scrambled down the female ophoris' side.
