Dark Encounter

Four Sune Cycles Later

After a few cycles of Xengu's outburst at Rasul and meeting Chase in person- er- ghost- the group started to settle down in the lowlands, and tensions dropped. Xengu still didn't allow anyone to go an inch near the tower, still unable to explain why, but everyone was communicating with one another. The iven dergou Blizzard initially was with finally decided to reveal their names.

One who was thin and lanky just like Blizzard was named Eira, who was shy and kind of like Vesna, only even more quiet. Whenever she moved, there seemed to be a jingling sound, which was from the clusters of ice crystals on her tail. Wherever she went, you could hear her like sleigh bells. Her thin coat of scales held a snowy color, yet the ice crystals were a light blue. She seemed to have a mixture of crystals and a pair of wings along her back, but it was deemed normal. Her eyes were green, which ophoree stated their worries about, but the others brushed it off as being 'normal for her age'. In fact, because she was so tiny compared to the others, she was only 40 searings, which was a dergis straight out of dergli-hood.

Another pair of iven dergou were twins, Holly and Ivy. Holly was consistently bouncy while Ivy seemed to be the exploratory and acrobatic type once she let her guard down. The two were just balls of energy, though Ivy seemed to look up to Seren, who was a calm and collective male. The two sisters would consistently show off their scales, which were beautiful bright colors of blue and grey that would occasionally reveal their purple markings. Holly was the only one with wings, but that didn't stop Ivy from being just as quick to be in the air. Their eyes were violet with green tints, and sometimes they seemed to try to hypnotize the others with their attentive stares.

Seren seemed to consistently look irritated, though he wasn't all that bad. He would taunt with Xengu on occasion about her being an overprotective Lailian, but in general he would stick to the ground and respect her boundaries. Rasul would often change his attention from the winged panther to him, so they had a possible working relationship in the making. Seren had large horns and completely dark blue eyes, making him quick to be accused of wrong-doing in his dergli-hood. His grey scales seemed to be slightly chipped in some places and laced with green. This happened to be because of the strange gas in the air.

Last but not least was Lixue, who seemed to be snooty in a way, consistently showing off how his white scales turned colors in the sune. It ranged from teal to a soft purple, and indeed was he majestic. Though, his attitude could improve if anything. His wings were larger than a normal derg's, as stated, and if anything, it just boosted his ego. He would occasionally join Seren on his teasing toward Xengu. His eyes were a beautiful blue color, though he seemed to have them closed all the time, the way he tried to pose himself.

Each and every one of their personalities seemed wildly different from what the four had expected of iven dergou. It simply made them worry if Frosten was somewhat like them, crazy and all over the place.

Favi sighed quietly as she stared out into the night sky, shivering under the coat she had managed to find in one of her closets. Everyone was quietly talking to one another, making the night feel airy and cheerful. Nothing seemed to be on the other's minds that could hint to dark things or point toward the war. Just peace and quiet...

Feeling incredibly bored, the winter lynx looked around at everyone else. Jasar was talking to Gess and Lisa about something, who both listened eagerly. Belle was with Takeo and Xengu, who was a whole lot better and hardly seemed sick. She was still under a heavy blanket and coat just to be sure she didn't catch a cold again. Finally, Latif and Marsh were closer to the female lynx, but they were having a quiet conversation. Curious, Favi eavesdropped to give her something to do.
