Bloody Scare

Four Sune Cycles Later

Feeling a sudden breath on his body, Jasar yowled and scrambled up, panting and wildly looking around. He stared into red eyes and again yowled, trying to get away when realizing that it was only Raid. A small sigh escaped him as he panted in place, Favi groaning and shifting, kicking him in the side to get off of her.

"What in the world as you freaking out about?" she groggily asked.

She looked up to the ophoris staring down at them and then uttered an 'ah' and promptly laid back down. Raid quickly grabbed her by the scruff and pulled her back onto her bottom, causing the lynx to snarl.

"I need you all to be awake, we're going somewhere," she rumbled.

"Oh no, it isn't another one of those stupid battles, is it?" Favi groaned.

"N-no, it's more over a tour."

The felines, Marsh groggily sitting up, blinked at Raid in confusion.

"You can do that?" Jasar asked.

"Y-yeah! Hold on, I'll go get Xengu and we can meet up with Crackle," the ophoris purred.

The felines in the rock nest got up with grumbles and groans, stretching and rubbing sore areas from their uncomfortable bed. They then stepped over the nest and walked up to the front of the cage, watching as Raid summoned her chains and wrapped them around two bars. They seemed to absorb the electricity and she purred, pawing the door open. Xengu stared at her with wide eyes, hesitantly hopping over the frame. She came up to the other felines, looking them over before snorting and looking back to Raid.

"So, we're really leaving the prison cave... not for going to the arena?" Jasar asked nervously.

He was anxious. The previous sune cycle had been his own battle. He barely made it. Xengu had to have been next. She attacked the opponent again. Who knew that Blaze and Morfran would throw at her?

"Yes, don't worry about it," Raid purred, nudging the gray feline along.

"Blaze and Morfran are alright with this?" Favi asked.

"It took some convincing and a sune cycle or so, but they allowed it."

The bifers glanced from the ophoris to each other before nodding and going through the film on the cave entrance. Jasar nervously glanced to the guard ophoree, who simply looked at them before returning to their stationary positions.

"So... what goes through a hypnotized person's mind?" the cat nervously asked as they climbed onto Raid's back.

"Well, I don't know, I... I don't really remember, being insane was... was kind of a blur," the red-marked ophoris rumbled quietly.

"So... that's why you hardly had skin? You were recovering from being insane?" Marsh asked.

"H-Hey, enough questions about that, let's just focus on the tour," Crackle chirped.

He then turned to Xengu, who was growling and backing away from him, her pupils thin at the chains in his beak. The flabir's feathers lowered as he looked to the side solemnly.

"I'm sorry, but Blaze and Morfran want you chained up, they want evidence we're not letting you fly off."
Xengu seemed to accept the chains a little more, though there was an undertone of a growl coming from her throat as the flabir wrapped the chains around her wings and torso. Jasar had to blink back his shock at the little-to-none swiping. She had backed away, but she didn't do anything else. Was she really as weak as she told Marsh? Her fight from the previous battle didn't show it, maybe it was the adrenaline rush?
