Hypnotism
One Ninth Sune Later
Marsh quickly ran over to the cage, panic in his eyes for what reason Favi couldn't fathom. The winter lynx calmly walked up to the three others, watching as Xengu held onto the bars and leaned to them.
"Guys! I don't know why he's here or anything, but... Morfran is right by the entrance!" Marsh yowled.
Favi's eyes widened as Jasar let out a shrill inhale. Marsh turned a frantic look to Xengu, who's eyes were wide with shock and hostility.
"Why would he be here? He's never done that in the past ston cycle!" Favi exclaimed.
"What if he finds out about the cage?!" Jasar fretted.
The group turned to look at the cage bars, which completely lost their electric charge ever since Favi had slashed at it with her sword. They stared up at it before turning to the entrance. Favi squinted at the prison veil, feeling a chill up her spine as she looked. It didn't go away, it just kept rushing through her in waves. Xengu stared at her in confusion, glancing to the entrance with wariness before turning back to the lynx.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"You... you don't feel it?" the lynx asked, finally taking her eyes off of the veil.
The winged panther furrowed her brow and shook her head, placing a hand on the winter lynx's shoulder before retracting in confusion.
"Sorry, I was expecting you to feel cold."
"You're fine, I keep getting chills up my spine, so I get it..."
Favi looked down at her hands before what felt like the strike of an icicle hitting her brain caused her to shoot up and yowl.
"Come to the entrance."
The others frantically looked at the female lynx as she held her head in pain, doubling to the ground. Jasar quickly came to her side, holding onto her gently, looking her over. Restrained by the pain in her head, the female lifted her gaze and looked to the entrance. In front of her was a sight that she didn't expect.
There stood a red ghost ophoris, male from the physical aspects of the length of its body parts and the distinct three-toed paws. A long mane draped over their shoulders, red markings over their limbs and short tail. The strangest sight of them all was the noticeable hole directly on the chest and what looked to be along the underbelly of the torso. It was strange though, the voice sounded feminine instead of male.
The creature stared at her with such intensity and took a step toward her, causing Favi to scream and scramble back. She panted and stared at the spirit with wide eyes while the others came up to her confusion.
"What's wrong?" Marsh asked this time.
"Y-you don't see it?!" Favi yowled, pointing toward the spirit.
The others stared at her in confusion, glanced toward the entrance, then shook their heads.
"What's gotten into you, Favi? I've never seen you act like this before..." Jasar mumbled, scratching the back of his head.
"W-what do you mean? Do you really not see it?" the lynx asked frantically, holding onto the cat's hand.
There was a while of silence between the felines as they looked at each other, then to the entrance veil. All of them shook their heads, causing Favi to flatten her ears against her head. The spirit was still there, staring her down. With a squint of its eyes, it sent a spike of ice-cold energy to the small lynx's head and caused her to double over again.
