Y/N a young man is summoned to a new world along with 4 others each with a unique weapon. Y/N's being a magic staff the others a sword, a spear, bow and a shield of all things.
After I had a long discussion about Raphtalia being Naofumi's slave I began to understand why he did it and found out he doesn't actually treat her like a slave. I simply told him that it was great he had someone who could attack for him but he would have to get only one or people might think something else ill of him. That was yesterday right now I'm getting ready for the first wave my beast master skill is almost maxed I haven't really gotten to use it yet so I figured I'd go out and catch some really powerful creatures. Right now I'm hunting for creature called a basilisk a snake creature that can either petrify or kill it's prey with one look it also has a mean venom that can kill anything thankfully my robes now protect me from any status effect. After walking for some time through the woods I stepped on a pile of leafs then a hissing sound could be heard I jumped back as a large snake jumped out from the pile it was larger than a dog and had spikes along it's spine with large fins on it's head giving it a larger appearance.

"I thought you'd be bigger, guess beggars can't be choosers" I said twirling my staff. I sent earth spells at the basilisk but it was too fast I then sent an electric spell and managed to paralyze it I then used my beast staff on the snake. Ropes came out of my staff and wrapped around the creature it hissed in pain as it was pulled closer to a magic circle created by my staff "come on, damnit!" I yelled as the basilisk struggled to pull away. After a minute the beast gave up it went into my magic circle and disappeared an alert popped up it said "basilisk obtained 1 of 15 slots filled, also gained access to petrifying spells and other immobilizing spells". I went to check on the stats of the basilisk and they were very good it turns out it was a young one meaning it would grow and get bigger. With one beast captured I decided to go and claim a few more.
Time Skip
After gaining a basilisk I was now going after a new creature a twin tailed scorpion. By obtaining the beast I'd also be saving a village as the scorpion had dug a burrow next to their travel route and had been stopping caravans and killing the people. I walked down the road slowly my staff in my hand as I was walking I began to whistle a tune the route 1 theme from pokemon red. Half way through I heard a loud screech I quickly turned around and blocked a strike from a stinger then blocked another strike from the other stinger "your gonna have to do better than that" I said turning around there it was the giant twin tailed scorpion ready to strike.
