Y/N a young man is summoned to a new world along with 4 others each with a unique weapon. Y/N's being a magic staff the others a sword, a spear, bow and a shield of all things.
God why is this world messed up everything was okay first we cleared the wave then we had a celebration Naofumi and I are minding our own business then next thing you know Motoyasu challenges Naofumi to a duel for Raphtalia's freedom and next the king threatens me for some reason. Raphtalia tried to explain that she followed Naofumi by her own free will but sadly she was gaged and taken away the king said that she was forced to follow Naofumi's orders because of the slave crest which was bull crap and I tried to voiced my knowledge on the subject but was shut down on the matter. With no option Naofumi agreed to the duel and we where sent to the arena.

And that's why where at this point now Naofumi had a great defense and may of not had a higher level than Motoyasu but he had skill. For the first half Naofumi couldn't do anything but block but since Motoyasu's couldn't strike him he had lost then Motoyasu used his chaos spear attack which was blocked he then had to recharge which gave Naofumi a chance to attack then he started to get an upper hand in the fight I was cheering him on. Naofumi had trapped Motoyasu in his prison shield with a bunch of balloon monsters. While this was happening I noticed the reactions of the people in the stadium all the nobles where shocked saying it was dirty to use monsters to attack the king and Myne had shocked expressions because Naofumi was winning I even saw Ren and Itsuki they looked genuinely surprised at the outcome. Right as the battle was almost over I notice Myne cast a wind spell which knocked Naofumi off balance as that happened Motoyasu had struck Naofumi causing him to bleed then lose. I acted quickly then punched Motoyasu out of the way I leaned over Naofumi he wasn't doing good I summoned my phoenix which shocked everyone the bird jumped on my hand "he needs help little one" I told the phoenix it then jumped on Naofumi and raised it's head over his wound then it shed a single tear which healed his wound Naofumi began to cough the phoenix jumped on my shoulder Naofumi got up slowly "what happened?" Naofumi asked "they cheated" I answered loudly Motoyasu had a shocked expression "what are you talking about stop being a sore loser" Motoyasu said "if they cheated it's not fair" Naofumi said "it was her she casted a wind spell" I said pointing at Myne looked flabbergasted "you all saw it right?" I asked the people in the audience sadly they didn't say anything "come on saying something" Naofumi pled Myne called us scum and told the people not to listen to us. I saw the king come down "to bad, now you'll have to fight alone again" Myne taunted I couldn't take I got up startling her I pointed my staff at her and began to charge up a fire spell which frightened her "your a hero you wouldn't kill me would you?" Myne asked "like I told you before I am no White Knight, okay you have cause Naofumi so much trouble you backstabbing hore I will burn you where you stand" I said "enough, Naofumi has lost and his slave shall be freed if you hurt my daughter Malty you will pay" the king said. Hearing the king say that it hit me I knew it had hit Naofumi he was set up from the beginning then I questioned what they where going to do to me if I hadn't gone solo from the beginning which made them have to make it so that Naofumi and I shared the blame. "I congratulate the spear hero for his victory over the shield hero, as for you staff hero you will be forced to hand over your phoenix so our magicians can replicate it's tears" the king said "your a bigger fool than I thought I didn't duel so I don't have to give anything up, you will have to kill me to get my phoenix or any of the other creatures in my care" I said this angered the king "then you will fight the spear hero this time and if you lose you will give up your phoenix and whatever else you have under your control. As my spat with the king was going on soliders were removing Raphtalia's slave crest I could sense a dark aura coming from Naofumi when it was all over Motoyasu thought he was Raphtalia's savior but he was wrong she went on and gave him an ear full of how she wasn't forced to do anything only when the situation needed it, also that Naofumi had taken care of her and when they'd fight together she'd protect him and in return he did the same but what he did was save her he got her when she was sick and dying he gave her medicine and healed her Naofumi feed her he took care of her and they wouldn't understand the only one who cared was Naofumi and me. Motoyasu was stunned he tried to argue with the girl but couldn't angered by the outburst Myne or Malty called her demi human scum then tried to slap her I grabbed her hand and squeezed it tight then burned her wrist causing her to flinch in pain I looked at Raphtalia and told her to tend to Naofumi and get him out of here she nodded and left. At that moment Ren and Itsuki showed up they wanted to know why Malty had illegally interfered with the fight by using wind magic. That caused Motoyasu to look over at Malty she still tried to play innocent by pointing out that no one saw it then the 2 stated that the king declared that everyone stay silent which caused the king to look sheepishly the stated that since my phoenix isn't human it's not a slave and if the king wanted one send someone to find it and learn my magic they also declared their disgust with the noble family and how they disgraced the sacred duel. I looked over and saw Raphtalia hugging a crying Naofumi then I looked back to the king "do you still want me to fight Motoyasu?" I asked "yes and the terms still apply" the king answered he looked to Motoyasu who had been healed and was now in position I equiped my phoenix staff

I could tell Motoyasu was afraid as we're the others "I want to get this over with, I won't kill you but you'll feel it in the morning" I said "yeah whatever" Motoyasu responded before he could even I teleported behind him then I casted my phoenix flame torrent spell. When the smoke and flames cleared Motoyasu was charred I left the arena without saying a word Malty came at me but I used my basilisk stare and she froze "I will end you" I said letting the threat hang I then opened a portal and left with a new hatred for this world.
A/N: Well damn your an angry badass now I wanted to keep the fight between Naofumi and Motoyasu because it would set up a plot point I also wanted a short fight between Y/N and Motoyasu because he has more power than him and his patience was thin with everyone. I will tell you Y/N won't get an evil power like Naofumi he'll get something better if you guess right there'll be a surprise. As always thank you for reading and as always I will see you later
