Chapter 11
ANONYMOUS POV:
“Zayn Malik and Sophie Tomlinson went out on a date.” My assistant, Salim, told me. I nearly threw my phone straight at the middle of his forehead.
They… they what?!
“What?!” I screamed. I slammed my clenched fists on the desk beside me.
Salim seemed frightened and jumped. He waited for a second to see if I was going to say anything more. Just the look of his face was starting to annoy me. His black hair was almost greasy enough to fry some McDonald’s fries and his eyes were as black as burnt toast. Salim was your definite stereotypical assistant or whatever you want to call it. He was shy, obedient and practically a doormat. People just walked all over him.
“What are you still doing here?” I rang my pitchy voice. “Leave!” I was livered. He quickly turned around as fast as his feet could move him and headed towards the door of my small computer room. “And go take a shower!” I added, “I can smell you from here!”
How dare she disobey me? Now this was getting frustrating. It was just a simple text stating that she should keep away from him, get out of that marriage. If she isn’t trying, I’m telling you now, she’ll regret it.
Whether it was a date or to hang out as friends, I couldn’t bear the fact that she went against my orders. If she was smart, she’d stop in her tracks. Obviously I’m dealing with a five year old. That’s alright though, because I know how to treat little kids when they’ve done something wrong. Take something away from them that they value. I wouldn’t go as far as taking her life. I’m not that stupid, but if push comes to shove, it certainly is a possibility.
I’m not going to sit here and watch my soul mate be stolen by another. I don’t give up that easily and Sophie was going to find that out. If anything else is to happen that pushes me over the edge, I’m going to take the first flight out of here and straight to Australia. Sophie Tomlinson doesn’t know who she was dealing with, but she soon will.
