A/N: Okay, so in this fanfic, I’m gonna make Pakistan a country which has a royal family. I know it actually doesn’t, but not many countries do have it, and the only ones that do could NEVER relate to Zayn! Haha. So yup, Zayn is from the royal family of Pakistan!
Also, I have separated the meeting into two parts! :) Hope you enjoy meeting him :) xox
Chapter 6
SOPHIES POV:
I slumped in the chair which was placed nicely front of my dressing table mirror.
Throughout whole morning, I was getting ready to meet Zayn. Should I tie my hair up? No. Out. Out looks good. It’s not like I was aiming to impress Zayn though. This was serious business—marrying him I mean. I still didn’t know what Zayn was like. It baffled me as to why I hadn’t just Googled information about him yet. But Louis had done that for me and told me as much as he could:
“Well, he’s from the royal family of Pakistan. Hm… this is weird. He’s visited England a lot and picked up an English accent. Alright then. He’s also very nice in front of the media. Caring and helps a lot with causes around the country. Sophie, don’t get so worked up, okay? You might actually end up liking the guy.”
I didn’t buy it though. This Zayn Malik guy was going to completely 180 my life. Whether he was the sweetest human being on earth or not, I did have a strong first impression on him.
I knew I wasn’t convincing myself.
Then I heard a knock on bedroom my door.
“Sophie?” Jane called from behind the door.
“Yeah?” I asked. She opened the door and stepped inside my room. She raised her eyebrows, surprised, when she saw that my bedroom floor was completely visible and clean.
“You’re not going to school today. Zayn’s flight arrived early and he’s insisting to meet you right away.” She informed me.
“How soon is right away?” I asked her.
“Is an hour enough time to get ready?” She looked up at the ceiling as if she was an innocent victim.
“An hour?!” Oh, god. No, this wasn’t alright.
I bolted upright and started paced around my room. It was spacious enough, so I got used to pacing whenever I was troubled. Jane shrugged her shoulders and left out the door. Thanks. It was all up to me. I didn’t even know why I was getting so worked up about this. Do it for your country. You can do this.
I cleared my thoughts and started playing around with my hair in front of my mirror. I should let Niall know I won’t be at school today.

‘Won’t be at school today, off to meet the one and only Zayn Malik. Wish me luck? :/’
I slipped my phone into my jeans. I had figured out my outfit for today— simple, but effective. Some slim, dark blue jeans that flattered every one of my curves, a white singlet top and black jacket over the top. I wasn’t going to go all out to meet a prince, and I didn’t have the wardrobe for it either.
So I had to wing it. And anyway, he’s only two years older than me, so he couldn’t possibly be completely mature and stern about everything… I hope. But this was a serious matter and I was treating it like a joke.
Honestly, I can be the most easy-going person you could meet. I laugh at funny things – maybe too much— and probably end up embarrassing myself. But that’s okay, because I don’t feel the need to try too hard and impress the world. I don’t need to amaze Australia or the people at my high school. As long as I go through the next two years without sticking out and making a name for myself, I should be fine.
