School without Elly is like bread without jam, shake without freaking ice and life without suspense. The first day without Elly in school or anywhere is more frustrating than it seems. Who knows what's happened to her or if she's still breathing. People knew how gangs work in Mango Avenue when they kidnap someone. They either get beaten up or killed like in the news.

Mary then spotted Ash so carefree for the matter. She knew she had to take matters into her own hands like confronting the guy in Elly's stories. There's a first for everything, right?

"Ash, do you know what's going on?" Mary confronted Ash for the first time in her years of hearing about the same man who broke her best friend's heart.

"And you are Elly's best friend, a.k.a Mary." Ash replied with a long stare. "She said you're amazing and it seems like you are a hater."

"Yeah, I hate you and if the world will freeze right now then I'll have to kick your balls as an opportunity." Mary scoffed as she glared at the tall figure in front of her. "So do you know what's going on?"

"What do you mean? Aside from the upcoming soccer event in Washington D.C, nothing else." Ash answered as he looked at the posters advertising the soccer event outside the country. "I'm excited for that shit. I just need to practice more for the team."

"So you don't know what's going on with Elly being lost? You don't even care to tell what happened two days ago with her not showing up at 18:00?" Mary then leaned closer because it was tempting to punch someone who seem to not care at all.

"What! I never knew until now. I can't believe it! How? Why?!" Ash reacted as soon as Mary sighed for a reply. He looked worried but tears were not visible because seeing jocks cry in school is a law breaking matter.

"Now you know. I'll leave now." Mary informed as she felt like Ash maybe cared for Elly after all. "Mary, look. I know you don't want me for Elly, but ever since I read her poetry book during spring break, I realized how much I've lost someone so beautiful. At first, I thought I wanted us to be good friends, but when she started talking, my world sparked. She means the world to me and I fell for her really quick and I knew all this time she is the right one."

"That's why you wanted to get laid by her because you thought she was the right girl. What is being the right girl like to you Ash? Being the right girl to sleep with?" Mary savagely said as she fought against Ash's charms. He even seemed like he was flirting with her or maybe he was just charming from the start.

"No, I thought that if I did it with her then she'll never leave. I know Harith is on to her too and he seems like a good guy, but I can't lose over that nothing. Elly is better with me and you should know that since she went all this way because of me. We're better together." Ash proclaimed as if he won the lottery like in his past video games and ranking up nights. Except this time, it's like he just won a girl.

"You don't know what's best for Elly. You only know what's best for yourself." Mary replied as things became clearer. He is still selfish and even if he loves Elly, he seems too selfish to know what's better for her.

"I don't care what you say or what anyone says. I'm going to look for her then find her. I'll find her." Ash grinned as he took his KTM motorbike keys. "I'm going to that bar and it seems like they abducted her for security reasons. I'm going to kill them."

Mary was confused about what to feel towards Elly's present love life. At least Elly has two guys who are willing to find her and kill the people who kidnapped her. If she was willing to risk herself for her best friend then her boy friends should too.

The time is ticking and saving Elly is more than just action, but faith.
