Chapter 37- The Real Devil

Boss Croc then called Daisy for the tea and all the information and details of the kidnapping.

"We injected really bad, bad drugs on that douche and the side effects include lost of memory. We've really got this taken care of! She has no witnesses and the doctors will think she's been on drugs as a cause. What a really perfect plan. She doesn't deserve her new life, so we took it from her. We also transported her to a desert 'cause leaving her in Cebu is too much of a risk since we're from Cebu. She's literally in a desert and she'll stay there and we'll never see her again."

"You mean, you took the new life from her! I never agreed to such craziness. I thought we'll just make her suffer for a few days, but not an entire lifetime." Daisy replied and feared she would be part of the whole fuzz in the future. "Oh well. I guess I have no choice."

Can evil really out win the innocent?

"Yeah, she has amnesia which means she is psychologically unprepared for such questions since she doesn't know anything." Another doctor mentioned from the glass window separating the patient from her doctors.

"We'll just report it to officials and call anyone possible for information." One doctor interrupted while staring, fascinated by the condition. "I've never seen someone so confused like an alien who just arrived earth."

Meanwhile, a station called the hospital saying they have a similar girl with a lost portfolio on their desks. "We know the girl. She's the one we're looking for." Officer Davis said happily for they finally have the victim alive.

"Harith, your girl is alive! But it seems like she might've forgotten who you are." Officer Davis then called Harith on the phone with much gratitude and sadness. The doctors mentioned about Elly's current rare lost of having amnesia.

What will life be with another kind of Elly?
Is she still the same Harith loves?

Harith then drove to the police station for answers. He just can't process what's going on.
Ash, on the other hand, overheard from Daisy that Elly is actually on some desert. There are no deserts in the Philippines, but there's one located far and called the La Paz Dunes, a coastal desert. Ash was then suspicious on how Daisy got the info or idea that Elly would be on that desert. Daisy reasoned that she had contact from the locals and they called her once they saw the girl then she realized it was Elly. Ash believed her because Daisy never lies and if she did, it would be for someone else.

Daisy was in the other side of the phone with guilt. She didn't wish anything like this for Elly. She also knew that turning against Boss Croc will result to violence, death or betrayal in short. She just couldn't imagine a life in horror in the hands of someone as big as Big Croc.

Big Croc is not a merciful guy. He is 9 feet tall, suffered from an atomic bomb explosion that caused his crocodile face and a man with a broken past that only his dark heart knows.

He knows the world far the anyone, according to him. He believes that everyday must be dangerous and adventurous because turning to dust in death has no happiness in between. He then considered suffering his own happiness and causing danger a hobby. He forged his real name with the title, "Big Croc." He doesn't care for the welfare of others, even for his so called friends. If they try to betray him or betray him, he'll always get back with something more evil.

He just did something the chemistry guys proposed. They proposed a new drug that makes you have amnesia. They don't know the side-effects yet, so they want to test it out with someone. Boss Croc had the perfect person in mind and it was Elly Foster.

Boss Croc was the one who injected the heroine- like drug and it made Elly blackout for 8 hours and once they dumped her in the desert, they made sure she was alive. Her last words before she had a blackout were, "I'm sure I'll remember and once I escape, you'll pay for what you've done to everyone-"

Then the blackout interrupted her speech, and what she said continued in her brain then her memory slowly washed out. She never knew this was coming and what was left was her name, nothing else. She knew how earth worked, but not herself.
