Jennie shouldn't have gone solo; BlackPink members shouldn't go solo yet
I'm probably gonna get bashed for this a bit (probably a lot actually), but I believe Jennie and the rest of BlackPink shouldn't go solo. I understand that YG wants more ways to promote the girls' music however, they shouldn't be going solo yet. BlackPink recently passed 10 songs in total, and having solo careers shouldn't happen yet. I say this because the girls don't have many music releases yet and should be focusing on promoting as 4 members instead of getting solo careers. I believe YG should be worrying about giving BlackPink a full-length album or two before worrying about going solo. He should focus on those kinds of things as well as more promotions before encouraging the girls to go solo. Now Jennie's song "Solo" wasn't the worst but I'm not gonna sit here and say that it's the best. I believe there are other solo artists whose songs I prefer way more, but that's just my opinion. Jennie's song could've honestly been a bit better but I still believe she looked amazing and has talent. Anyway, I think they should be focusing on more albums and releases as well as promotions for Blinks before going solo because then the solo songs will do better after gaining more and more support from the albums.
