So I have taken some time off from my books, but I am motivated and ready to jump back into writing. I've been nonstop(stan oh my girl. Sorry I had to) playing Twice's "More and More" ever since it came out, and it's been genuinely been making me feel inspired and good about myself. I feel in such a good mindset currently which is why I am bringing you content today<3. I want to thank you for 16k on this book. I know I thank you guys every time for like 1k higher reads that I get, but I genuinely want to nonstop thank you for these reads. I am beyond in disbelief that this many of you have read a book like this let alone mine, so thank you from the bottom of my heart<3. Now on to the opinion...
Momoland don't deserve hate for their similar concepts.
We obviously know Momoland have had similar concepts and their music videos and sounds follow a pattern, but they aren't the ones to blame. The entertainment is. Momoland really gained attention when their hit in 2018 "BBOOM BBOOM" came out, and since then "BAAM" and "Thumbs Up" follow similar styles and patterns to that (again not their fault). If you look back at Momoland's previous music you will realize that it sounds different to their current music, and follows a different pattern. Since "BBOOM BBOOM" blew up and the girls and entertainment really gained income from that, that's the whole reason as to why they now follow those similar concepts within their mvs and songs (it's because that's what works). Take Gfriend and KARD for example, both have a concept and stick to it because that's what works best for them and that's their style that makes them have success (not hating on either group because I love them and their styles both. I just felt the need to clarify so people don't come at me saying I am hating on them. They're just examples for what I am trying to say). Momoland is similar to that. They tried different styles in the past, but because "BBOOM BBOOM" blew up and did really well, the entertainment is making them stick to that style because that's what makes them successful and bring in money.
In addition, this is not meant to be rude at all (so sorry if you take offense), but if you don't like their music then don't listen to it. Plain and simple. No one is forcing you to like or to listen to Momoland because that's your choice, but taking the time out of your day to leave hate comments is just plain rude and shallow. These girls have received A TON of hate and backlash for honestly not many actual good reasons at all. Above I attached a video that addresses if people can actually call them "problematic" or not (I'm not going to go too much into it for reasons but if you wanna know my thoughts I am always down to write about it or we can discuss in private messages or in the comments about it), and I think it's a good video that really takes the time to explain it and elaborate on the topics mentioned (I recommend you watch it). Anyway, the point is no one is telling you you have to listen or like the girls, but leaving hate without doing research is rude and needs to be stopped. I hope everyone can realize it's not the girls' faults and that them sticking to a concept because it works is not a bad thing because there are others that do it as well. Hope you have a good day and expect some more content soon<3.
