BlackPink will disband

Before you all go yelling at me or commenting that I'm wrong please let me explain.  After everything that has happened with YG and YG groups put on hold (mostly cause we did get that WINNER comeback) I feel like all the YG artists and groups are feeling the same thing.  Get me out of here.  I wouldn't blame them.  Now back to this topic.  I watched this video about why BP will disband in 2023.  Now, I don't know when they will disband, but I have a feeling sometime in the upcoming years.

BP have grown very big globally from brand deals, to Coachella, and finally to their world tour.  Kinda confused as to why they still had that though because they just barely have over 10 songs, and the rest were just covers.  It's one of my theories I think about a lot.  Anyway, I feel like they will disband for multiple reasons.

Reason 1: YG artists are on hold and not saying anything.  Do I think this is the main reason? Obviously no, but I think it plays a part.  I think due to this on hold thing YG has cooking over there at the establishment isn't working and hasn't been for a long time.  I think not only are fans and people sick of it, but I also think the artists are to.  Personally, I wouldn't blame a group if they packed up their things and left to an entertainment that'll actually give them music and promotions.

Reason 2: BP rarely due group activities together.  You have Jennie who does EVERYTHING with Chanel (I mean she's killing it, but the others rarely, if never, do anything that much with them).  Jisoo has done a few things on her own but overall laying too low.  Same with Lisa, and she's probably lowkey working on her photography things or dancing by herself (as she does you know). Finally, our sweet Rosé has gotten like barely anything (or anything for that matter). She doesn't get that much to do as herself or with/for the group. Also, where's her solo YG!? In addition, if you look on all of the girls' Instagram accounts you will notice that the girls haven't posted with each other in quite some time. Lisa and Jisoo both posted a photo with each other in it on December 5th (so not too long ago) and another one on that same day that included Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé (no Jennie. Though she was tagged so maybe she was taking the photo, but why would Lisa tag a photographer if he wasn't the one taking the photo right. Little suspicious to me. Personally I don't think Jennie took the photo at all and she was just tagged as a like you're supposed to be in this but your not so we'll just tag you. Oop-). The others however, haven't done it in a while. Jennie posted a photo on September 30th standing in front of a poster with the other 3 girls (but I wasn't counting that as taking an actual photo with one of the members cause I wanted the in real life thing) and then discovered that on September 8th she actually posted a photo including Lisa. The photo isn't the two of them standing together but if you want an actual date of standing together here's the date( August 24th). I counted the one on September 8th because an actual photo of Lisa was posted holding a camera to match what Jennie was doing, and Lisa was actually posted to the insta account and wasn't on a poster. The August 24th date (if you wanna count that as the official one) was also of Lisa and Jennie. Rose's last post with one of the members was on October 13th with Jennie (yes I did extensive research for this. Don't at me haha. I needed to prove this point.) Also, in addition to all of this research, the girls are also reportedly not seen at events together. It's been said around that the girls go to the event, but they don't go together. Instead they go alone and probably like with some staff or team, or something like that. Keep in mind this has only been said, but I wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens/happened.

Reason 3: The girls seem more like models than a group. I've heard this multiple times and I lowkey also agree. I appreciate them releasing music and being together as a group, but some things just don't add up. I think the girls all really like each other and love being in a group, but they only release a comeback a year. They've been doing it since 2017 with AIIYL, to 2018 with DDU-DU-DDU-DU, and finally with 2019 with Kill This Love. News flash: IT'S NOT HEALTHY! Especially for a group with as much popularity as they have. You can't expect a group like this with millions of fans and supporters to keep stanning them like this. Fans are tired. I'm tired. I really like these girls, but I'll admit some days are harder to stan than others because of everything going on. We're tired of 1 comeback per year and barely seeing any activity from the girls. It's old. Now getting back to the main reason, the girls are always doing brand deals like Jennie with Chanel, Jisoo with GalaxyA/SAMSUNG and BAZAAR KOREA, etc. Keep in mind none of these brand deals have been with other members, no they've all been individual promotions. Hmm. Fishy don't you think? A group supposed to be doing music and promoting that, but they spend more time doing the opposite and doing individual brand deals with other companies. None of them are together with another member either. You might also be thinking "well it's normal for group members to do promotions without other members. It happens all the time". I'm not disagreeing with that, but to do it as long as BP has without doing group promos or music releases is definitely very off. They all seem to have individual schedules with no actual group ones scheduled. Yes, I have also heard that they're scheduled for a 2020 comeback but let's be real I bet it'll be in the beginning of 2020 and nothing else. I kind of wanna put money on that to be honest. They just seem to all be individual people put in a group together to release some music, but then go off back into their own worlds once the music is public and promoted. I'm sorry but I really don't know how much longer YG can put on that act for the public eye.

Anyway, that's my opinion, thoughts, and very in depth research I hope you will all value as much as I do. Thanks for reading and see you in the next one.

Edit from 2021:  I actually do not see this happening at all, and totally disagree with this opinion now.  I do respect my research haha because I truly did work really hard on it and think some points are valid, but I don't see this actually happening now and I truly hope it doesn't.  My BlackPink journey has been a little crazy if I'm being honest because inactivity really just isn't the best look, but that's not their fault and I know they're working so hard right now.  I truly love the girls and want the best for them, but do not see this happening so I will need to go add it to my changed opinions book now.

A/N: Omg guys I AM SO SORRY!!!! I know I said I would try to update but at the time I was still busy and found no time for this book. I owe you guys big time, but I hope this opinion made up for some of it because I really took time to do the research and make it as informational as I could. I also wanna start doing it more and more in further opinions, and change it up from what I have been doing in the past. It's my 2020 writing goal. I also didn't hop on here for a while and even though it passed, I hope all of you had a nice Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever else you celebrate. If you didn't celebrate or don't celebrate those at all I hope you had a nice day and I hope all of you have nice days as well. I don't know if I will update before, on, or after New Years but if I don't do it on the actual day I hope everyone has a good New Years. May 2020 bring happiness and health to us all. Wishing all of you the best, and thank you for reading my book and helping it get to 7k reads (it's insane!). I love all of you. Bye.❤️
