Kpop "Song of the Year" Candidates (because why not):

*Please note that these are just songs that I think qualify for this category based off of songs I have heard this year so far.  Also if your favorite song/candidate isn't on this list, feel free to let me know what you would rank as SOTY!*

~ After School: Weeekly (ugh such a good song! So many people have been playing this, it's in a ton of random dance plays, as well as super popular on TikTok so.....SOTY material)

~ASAP: StayC (another bop that tons of people have been playing this year! I feel like so many people (including myself) got into StayC with this song, and I've seen it been played a lot around by other people so again, SOTY material)

~Tear Drop: SF9 (Definition of ✨PERFECTION✨; I seriously cannot tell you all how many times I have played this song and will continue to play it. I need the album ASAP because this is quality at its finest. Stan and stream SF9 please and thank you)

~Alcohol Free: Twice (Do I need to say more? You all know it, you all love it (well maybe), and we only ever get SOTY material from Twice so.... definitely a strong competitor this year)

~Full Dash: It's One (this one is kind of a joke because of course it only released through Kingdom and is just a Kingdom unit performance but.......I actually really love this song so SOTY for me personally)

~Dun Dun Dance: Oh My Girl (Literally SOTY quality. They had to live up to the hype from their previous release "Nonstop" (including "Dolphin" as well because we all know how big that got and rightfully so) and they definitely did! I cannot even begin to explain how much Dun Dun Dance has been played in my house so... SOTY)

~You Can't Sit With Us: Sunmi (I immediately fell in love with this song after the first listen and the whole "1/6" album is just so amazing. Sunmi never disappoints and I'm so glad we got a physical release for this album because I will definitely be needing to purchase this ASAP. Anyway stream "You Can't Sit With Us" because it's SOTY material)

A/N: Sorry this was a super short and lowkey boring chapter. I'll probably double update because again, this was not an exciting chapter to come back to as an update for this story since my last chapter so...I'll post another one as well. To be honest, I feel like this book is flopping and going downhill as well as many people aren't reading it anymore so I don't know what I wanna do with it. I would like to keep updating it but irrelevancy is hitting this book pretty hard. I would however, like to thank the people who still take time to read, vote, and comment because it truly means the world💜. Sorry you had to read that rant, but who knows what'll happen to this book now.
