Shipping idols has gone too far

I think as part of the Kpop community in one way or another, we've all shipped idols together at some point. We see cute interactions between certain idols and like to put them together for jokes, but in all honesty it's gone too far. I'm going to be honest, I don't necessarily have a problem with it as long as it's all lighthearted and for fun/jokes. What I don't condone is when people push it onto idols so much. Some people are really delusional and think that if they keep shipping idols and tweeting and posting about it it's going to happen. News flash, it's not. What also annoys me is when people ship and idol with literally everyone. A great example is Jungkook. I literally see this boy shipped with hundreds of idols and then people try to justify it by inserting a clip of the two idols "interacting" when it's literally just a clip of them bowing or showing a smile trying to be respectful and friendly. I actually get shocked that people assume that the smallest actions like those mean that idols can automatically get shipped together. I also keep seeing those BP x BTS ships. I have two words for that... please stop. It's not going to happen (I mean it very well could, but people take it way too far with those creepy edits. Do you know what I'm talking about. I hope so.). Anyway, I understand if the interactions are cute and you do it in a lighthearted fun/friendshipy (that's totally not a word, but for the sake of this chapter it is now) way, but please don't force it onto idols because it's rude and creepy. It also totally makes the idols uncomfortable, and then everything just turns awkward. Just because idols have small interactions doesn't mean there's something going on between them. It's pure friendliness and respect.
I'd also like to address it between two members in a group since the top half is more so about idols from different groups. Between two members in a group is also fine as long as it's not done in an inappropriate way and is simply lighthearted. I'll take NCT as an example because they're my ults. Popular ships within the fandom are Nomin (Jeno and Jaemin) and Markhyuck (Mark and Donghyuk which is Haechan's real name in case someone doesn't know). People put these members together because they see cute interactions and do it as jokes which I'm fine with, but when they take it too far is where I have a problem. People like to make cute little compilations of the members being affectionate and sharing their love for each other on camera which again is fine to me but again, it can tend to go too far and needs to be stopped for the sake of everyone. Please never pressure this onto idols or force it onto them in any way shape or form, and also never bring it up in front of them. It makes them uncomfortable and everything awkward.
A/N: Sorry this chapter was a little all over the place. The main point is as long as it's harmless and all lighthearted I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but when people take it too far by pressuring idols, or bringing it up in front of idols, or keep tweeting about it or something that's when it needs to stop.
