Notice: I was debating whether to include this or not, but I ended up doing it because it seriously needs to be addressed. I've seen comments coming at me saying that by only saying "Yeri doesn't deserve hate" that it makes it okay for other idols to get hate. In no way, shape or form, is it okay for anyone to get any hate and I am actually upset that some people think I think idols that are not Yeri deserve hate. I know none of you truly know me personally, but to come at me saying some of the comments that are being said are simply not okay. I strongly believe NO idol deserves the hate they get and that people just find dumb reasons to hate someone and others join without actually doing research on the situation. This chapter is strictly addressing the hate Yeri receives but that doesn't mean that I think it's ok for other idols to get hate because quite honestly I find it so shallow that people can hate others for no reason at all. I felt like this needed to seriously be addressed and to make it clear that it is not okay for any idol to get hate and I don't support hate on anyone nor do I think idols deserve hate. Again, this is strictly a chapter addressing Yeri's hate, but in no way is it okay or acceptable for any idol to get hate and people should not be coming at me claiming that they think I think it's ok for any idol who's not Yeri to receive hate because no one (idol or not) deserves the hate they receive.
Yeri doesn't deserve the hate she gets
I am totally rewriting this chapter because I wanted a fresh start. Let me just say (although it's above) it is not acceptable to give anyone hate because you never know what someone is going through emotionally, mentally, or physically. Now, I originally posted this addressing Yeri's hate but some people took it upon themselves to claim that I think other idols who do receive hate deserve it and that is completely false. No one deserves hate what-so-ever, but this chapter is strictly focusing on Yeri and Red Velvet.
A lot of people were upset when Yeri first joined RV and took it upon themselves to send her an enormous amount of hate which is completely unacceptable. They found it wrong and she shouldn't be included because she "wasn't there since the beginning". I put that in air quotes because originally Yeri was supposed to be in the "Happiness" music video and debut with the girls, but something (I forget what specifically happened, but something did happen) came up with the company so she did not debut with them. For people to send the amount of hate she received is totally unnecessary and I bet you lots of people didn't even do research and joined the bandwagon just because they wanted to. When Yeri joined she was young (and still is) and for someone at the age she was to finally debut then get bashed as much as she did probably did damage to her mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is not okay to send anyone that amount of hate, so please be mindful of what you say and if you have nothing kind to say please leave because no one needs negativity.
