I think "Hello Future" is a better title track than "Hot Sauce"
So apparently I've seen a lot of people agree with this opinion as well while I was scrolling through Youtube comments on a community post, and I'm kinda shocked haha. I thought that people would agree that "Hot Sauce" was better than "Hello Future" after "Hello Future" released, but it turns out I was wrong and tons of people also agree with me that "Hello Future" is a better title track than "Hot Sauce". I personally think that "Hello Future" is a better title track because I think it is "easier" (for lack of words) to listen to. It isn't as hard on your ears as "Hot Sauce" is, and has an overall more chill vibe without tons of chanting like "Hot Sauce". I will admit that "Hot Sauce" has some good stuff (the vocals were probably the best part to be honest), but I find myself still hating the song, and always skipping it because I truly do not like it. I think the aesthetics were there, but the song itself was truly a flop for me, and I'd go as far as to say it is NCT Dream's worst title track (just my opinion, but their other titles are 1000x better than "Hot Sauce"). I made a joke with my cousin in which I said "watch me hate it now (because I hated the title "Hot Sauce" to begin with), but then end up loving it" and umm....yeah I don't see myself ever liking this song (watch me say this now and by the end of the year play it all the time; I'll update you if that ever happens haha).
I think "Hello Future" just fits more of the vibe and style I like than "Hot Sauce" does, and is an overall better song. Not only was it wayyyyy easier to listen to than "Hot Sauce" was, but it wasn't obnoxious and super in-your-face like "Hot Sauce". The vibe was super chill and was like hippie-inspired, and I LOVED it. It had the fun colors, fake tattoos, bandanas, fun-colored vans and balloons, tie-dye, flowers, beaded jewelry, rainbows, etc. and was overall just a fun vibe that I can get behind. It had the perfect mix of vocals and rap, and just hits way better than "Hot Sauce" does. Anyway, that's just my opinion, but let me know if any of you guys prefer "Hot Sauce" more.
