If YG + The Black Label did more promotions/promoted SOMI more, then I feel like she would be wayyyyyy more popular (especially overseas in the US market)

Now, I don't know how long this opinion will be truthfully, but I sincerely do feel that if The Black Label and YG promoted SOMI more/better then she would be very successful. I will first start off by admitting that she did have A TON of promotions during her first album XOXO's release and that that was super beneficial and boosted her popularity significantly, but I also won't deny that YG + The Black Label should be promoting her a little more than they are. I feel like they really lacked when she first debuted which is why after "Birthday" released and promotions were over, I feel like a lot of people didn't actually stick around. That wasn't SOMI's fault however, seeing as YG waited more than a year to give her her next release which also wasn't an EP but yet again, just another single (a very good one at that; What You Waiting For was ICONIC and amazing but waiting a whole year just for another single is ridiculous I'm not even gonna lie. I was FURIOUS as a fan). During What You Waiting For, SOMI also did promote but again, nothing too major. She then released "Dumb Dumb" after another year of keeping people waiting and finally, she dropped her "XOXO" album last year (finally! Like I seriously waited for her debut since after IOI because I've been following her since then and omg what a journey my girly has had so far).
XOXO was BY FAR THE BEST era for SOMI in regards to promotions as not only did she do her usual music stages, but she also did A TON of interviews and side promotions that weren't on stage which really benefited her. I feel like through XOXO, she gained a ton of new fans and popularity, and that it really put her name back on the map (after being deprived of the success she deserved after waiting so many years to redebut; I am so sorry if I seem like I am repeating myself but as a huge fan of SOMI for countless years, I need you guys to please understand the frustration and emotions I went through. Picture your favorite artist who you waited forever for them to debut and just know that that's the same feeling I felt with SOMI). If YG + The Black Label would continue to keep up with these promotions then like I said, SOMI could be way more popular than she is now and gain a ton of more new success. In addition, I know we are all somewhat tired of it in a sense, but overseas promotions (especially in the US) would be an amazing opportunity for SOMI. I feel like SOMI has the type of music that is easy to listen to, and that anyone can vibe to even if you don't know what the lyrics are saying. She also has such a bright, bubbly, and fun personality that I think resonates with a lot of people, and that a lot of people would like. I feel like her music would do very well in The States due to its easy-to-listen-to sound, and I wish YG + The Black Label would see that and choose to do that with SOMI.
