I know this book is all about my Kpop opinions and sharing them with people also using it as a way to hear what others think, but I felt the need to post this mini rant because I am so deeply affected by the recent acts SM is doing to NCT.
So prepare yourself for this mini rant. Grab a snack maybe some chips and a drink and sit back and relax as you read this rant.
*Disclaimer: Three of the topics I'm gonna mention have actually happened and have been released to the public and one of the topics is a rumor, so please do not believe automatically that this rumor is true. We are all waiting to hear the actual truth at some point or some day whether now or in the future*
The Vlive incidents:
The first topic I wanna address is NCT Dream's Vlive that took place the other day. "Boom", NCT Dream's new mini album that just released, was patiently waiting to be released to the public and the boys decided to do some Vlives prior to the music release to get NCTzens hyped up for the album. During the Vlive the boys started talking about WinWin, a member of NCT(he's in WayV and 127, two of NCT's subunits), and you can clearly hear the manager off to side tell Renjun and the boys (the Vlive consisted of Renjun, Chenle, and Jisung) that they need to stop talking about WinWin. You can clearly see the boys upset and confused faces along with Renjun's "okay" which when he said it seemed like he was just trying to play it off but was actually hurt by it.
Another topic that involves Vlive is when the manager said Chenle and Jisung had to switch seats because they want a KOREAN member in the center. I'm genuinely so ticked off about it because who cares if the Chinese members wanna sit next to each other. They're all still in the same spot just in different seating arrangements. Like hello, yeah I'm sorry that they didn't follow your "existing seating chart" oh wait funny cause...YOU DON'T HAVE ONE! Regarding the first one, how dare they tell NCT not to talk about WinWin. Hello, yes that man is still under your entertainment company and is bringing in the big bucks because WinWin is a talented human being who is coming for your money so SM watch out. In addition, I get Korea and China are having some issues and many claim that's why they can't talk about WayV and the members, but that is honestly the stupidest thing I've ever heard! WinWin is a member of NCT and deserves to be treated like one. Stop acting like he's not and grow up because guess what when it comes down to it you all know his name and he doesn't know yours.
The music show incident:
Proceeding to my next topic I wanna rant about, it regards what happened to Renjun after their music show schedule. NCT Dream had a music show schedule regarding their newest release "Boom". After the music show schedule was over and the boys were leaving the venue they were all getting ready to go into the cars. *Keep in mind, IT WAS RAINING!* Ok so back to the story, Renjun was under an umbrella with what looks to appear as some managers or people who work for SM and he was about to hop in the car with the rest of the boys, but the manager deciding to prioritize herself before Renjun and she got in the car instead. Since the car was full they told Renjun to go to the other car. You're probably thinking "well what's the big deal with that?" The big deal is that Renjun was left out in the rain with no jacket or blanket to keep him warm, and he also had NO UMBRELLA.
Like excuse me SM but what the actual heck do you think you're doing! This is one of your idols who keep in mind brings you in money too and you're gonna leave him out there IN...THE...RAIN! Unacceptable!!Tsk tsk tsk. Renjun didn't know what to do cause surprise surprise, they didn't tell him where to go and they didn't help escort him to the other car. Renjun started calling people to see what was going on and where to go. LUCKILY, and I'm saying this in the nicest way I possibly can, he found the car and got in safely. In no way shape or form is it ok to do what happened to Renjun to one of your idols under your company. Your job as the company is to help promote, provide, and ensure the idol's safety no matter what. CLEARLY SM is struggling over here because this should have NEVER happened to Renjun, and hopefully we can all spread awareness to this incident and get better from here on out regarding idol treatment.
The Rumor:

This one is gonna get a little messy because even though it's only a rumor and I hope it's not real, this is a VERY serious matter that I wanna discuss. I've only heard this information recently and decided to talk about it currently. Allegedly, one of the managers for SM has been inappropriately touching Jeno and also supposedly some of the other members. I haven't heard much regarding the members but according to a post I found on Instagram from the account "kpop.zones", there is a thread that describes some of these supposed incidents that are happening. In the thread there is a specific screenshot that says, "The female manager was described as not being able to control her own loving hands by a Jeno fan site". Now keep in mind I don't know if any of this information is true, it is only rumored, and there is no actual evidence that clearly states if any of these things I mentioned above are true.
Now, I'm gonna share my thoughts and opinions on this information. Like I stated, I really hope this is not true because there is nothing worse then figuring out one of your idols (or multiple) are being touched in a way that is uncomfortable to them. SM better start controlling their acts and finding better managers. I do want some more info on this subject and hopefully will get some closure or explanation regarding this topic.
These were all of the topics I wanted to rant about on here and I hope you guys really take the time to read this stuff carefully. It is not supposed to be lighthearted like my opinions in the book, and should be taken very seriously. Even if you are not a fan of the boys I still hope you in someway can provide some support and spread awareness about the mistreatment of these idols. I don't want any people bashing the oblivion out of people involved and want no hate to go towards the boys and SM. Yes, I know we're all thinking we want to do that but that isn't gonna solve anything. Please just help spread awareness for better treatment for idols and pray that everything will all work out in the end, for the sake of NCT and the industry itself.
