Unexpected Visit

It has been a few long and scary days in the hospital. Taylor couldn't stay for long after he arrived because he was shooting the new season of Chicago Fire.

Joey is doing really good but I'm still trying to get used to using the nebulizer treatment. I am so exhausted, I haven't slept in two days. How could I when my baby is laying in misery and struggling to breath.

After taylor left, I gave Joey his meds and his treatment. I walked into the living room holding Joey and turned on some tv. I put Joey on my knees and held his little hands. "You scared mommy and daddy, don't do that ever again. I couldn't stand if anything happened to you" as I said that he squirmed and smiled. I rubbed his cheek with my finger and said "your so cute!" he had an alfalfa sticking up and he looked so adorable with his big blue eyes and his dark brown hair.

As I was playing with joey, I heard a knock at the door. I laid Joey down in his bouncer and went to answer the door. "Surprise Gaga!" it was elton, David and the boys, Zachary and Elijah. I said "hellooo, how are you!" Elton said "great! we just decided to drop in." I laughed and said "well, come on in" they walked in and sat down on the couch. I held my arms out and said "Zachary Elijah! come give me some hugs." They ran into my arms and gave me hugs and kisses. I said "do you guys want to meet someone?" they both eagerly shook there heads and I got up and got Joey out of his bouncer. As I sat down on the couch I said "this is joey! you guys wanna hold him." They said yes and got on the couch, holding him and kissing him. David said "he is adorable! is he a handful?" I said "well usually no, but a few nights ago he was struggling to breath so I called 911. They said he had a severe type of asthma. He had to stay a few days and he is taking medication and a nebulizer to try to ease it" they both looked at me with worry in there eyes. "It will be ok though. I just have to watch him closer. I haven't had sleep in days" Elton said "well, why don't you go to lay down and we will take care of him." I shook my head and said "oh no, I don't want to put that on you!" they both said "its fine" I figured since they offered I would take it. I showed them how to give him his treatment and I went to lay down.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. It was 4:30 so I had to get up and give Joey his nebulizer and meds. I walked out into the hall and seen elton bouncing Joey on his shoulder while the boys were taking there nap in the floor. I came in to the living room and said "thank you guys so much. It was long over due!" elton laughed and said "anytime! he is good, I gave him his treatment a couple hours ago so he will need another one." I shook my head and Elton handed him to me and I put him in his bouncer and plugged his nebulizer up. I put the little mask on his face and he took his treatment. I gave him his meds then he fell asleep on my chest. I put him in his bassinet and walked back over to the couch to watch some reruns of Chicago Fire.
