"Your daughter's a vampire?" I asked while looking at the officer.
"Yes. She used to be obsessed with them when she was a little girl. And then she met this guy who was a vampire and weird things started happening to her. When I found out, she ran away from home and hadn't said a word to me or her mother."
"What's your daughters' name?" The angry police officer asked while his arms were crossed.
"Is it Victoria?" Emily asked. Everyone looked at her then back at the police officer.
"Y-yes. Have you seen her?" The police officer walked up to me and Emily.
"We only met her once. But she's really nice." I looked at the officer with a soft smile on my face and he smiled back.
"She is a really sweet girl. I just wish she would come home. Where did you meet her?"
"Outside this house so we have no idea where she lives. Only one person does but he's gone as well." Emily looked down towards the ground and rubbed her arm nervously.
Hold on a sec. Remember when Jade randomly ran into your house and told us about what Brandon saw?" I quickly looked at Emily and she looked up at me.
"Yeah."
"Well, he usually stays after school for football so he might still be there."
"How do you know he's in football?"
"I had to stay after to turn in an assignment and when I was leaving school, I saw him running to the field in his jersey and other gear stuff." Emily just shrugged and the angry officer told us to take them to our school to find Brandon and so that's what we did. And we thankfully got there in time because Brandon was in his uniform and was taking a water break. I called out to Brandon and he looked at me and Emily. He started looking a bit scared since he saw three cops with us.
"What is going on?" He asked while making eye contact with the angry officer.
"Jade went missing and we thought you might know something." Emily glared at Brandon with her arms crossed.
"Wait she's missing?! What the hell happened??"
"Vampires that's what. And I got a question for you." Emily walked up to Brandon and had to look up at him slightly which clearly didn't bother her. "You know where I live don't you?"
"W-well ya but that's only because I walked with Jade once while she was walking to your house then ran off when I asked her a question. I saw her run into your house."
"Did anyone ask you where she lives recently?" I asked moving Emily away from Brandon and I stood in front of him.
"Yeah. Two guys came up to me during lunch and asked if I knew where she lived." He pointed to Emily. "They said they were friends with you guys so I told them."
"If you couldn't tell... we don't hang out with anyone else at this school. It's just us 3 and we usually like to keep it that way. So the next time someone tells you that they're friends with us... don't believe them!" Emily got pretty defensive with what she said but I didn't stop her.
"Okay okay, I'm sorry. Did those two guys take her?"
"One of them took Jade and the other probably took Jace too." I looked at Emily then at Brandon.
"Jace..." One of the officers said as if he was trying to remember something. All of us looked at him. "I've heard that name before. I can't remember where though."
"It was probably the boy that your daughter fell in love with. Our friend is in love with him as well."
"They took him too?"
