I looked over to the front door and saw that it was still open. I tried to rush to it but Jason stood in my way. He started walking towards me so I backed away but then Emily and Abigail grabbed both my arms.

"Jason please. Don't do this. Leave my friends alone." I begged. But that only made him laugh.

"If you're not gonna listen to me, what makes you think I'll listen to you?" I noticed his eyes get darker which terrified me. I struggled as much as I could to get out of Emily and Abigail's grasp but it didn't work. I felt trapped and alone. I didn't know how to defend myself. I always knew I was weak but this is worse. And even if I was strong enough, I don't want to hurt my best friends.

You may be thinking: where the hell are your parents and your sister? My answer: I have no f-ing clue. All I know is that they aren't home. Mia could possibly be at her bakery. She does tend to open it early for the "early birds" but that's besides the point right now.

I didn't know what to do anymore. I was hopeless so I stopped struggling and looked down at the ground closing my eyes. I heard Jason laugh again but that didn't make me move an inch.

"Aww. Has my little doll given up? Well then." He came up to me and whispered in my ear. "I'll finish you off now just incase." His lips touched my neck and parted and I was soon able to feel his fangs poking at my neck. They they slowly started to sink in. I screamed in pain and started to feel my body slowly go slightly limp.

"Jason!" I heard a voice shout. Jason stopped and turned around and there was Jace standing in my doorway.

"Oh why hello Jace. Pleasant seeing you here." Jason turned his body to fully face Jace. I noticed Jace looked in my direction then at Emily and Abigail. I looked back at them and both their eyes were still red. I turned back to face Jason and Jace.

"J-jace..." I stuttered. "I... I think it's b-best if we stopped hanging out with each other." Jace looked at me with a scared expression on his face and Jason just smirked.

"Jade no. Don't say that." Jace ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me but I pushed him off.

"But it's true and you know that. Look what he's doing to my friends. And did you already forget what he did to me? This all happened because I got involved in your life when I wasn't supposed to. If I leave now, all of this will stop and we could go back to how things were before we ever started talking." My voice cracked between my words since my eyes started to water.

"Jade I don't want that."

"I don't either but it's for the best." I looked at Jason. "There. Will you give me my friends back now?"

"Gladly." He snapped his fingers and I felt Emily and Abigail's grip loosen on my arms then they both fell to the floor. I feel onto my knees and broke down into tears. "Let's leave her alone why don't we?" I heard Jason say. Then a few seconds later there was silence. I looked up and Jason and Jace were both gone. I looked up at my door which was wide open and Mia was standing there staring at me shocked.

She quickly ran over to me and helped me up to my feet.

"What the hell was that?" She asked me while both her hands were on my shoulders.

"N-Nothing Mia."

"Bullshit. I just saw two guys disappear in thin air don't say that was nothing. What is going on?" I was silent. How am I supposed to tell my sister the stuff I'm dealing with and that there are vampires involved. "Ugh. You're helping me put your friends on your bed then you're telling me everything." I sighed.

After I helped Mia put Emily and Abigail on my bed, we went in the living room sitting next to each other on the couch.

"You better start talking now." I sighed and eventually explained everything to her. She looked at me like I was crazy. But she can't say I'm lying since she witnessed Jason and Jace both disappear in smoke. She looked down and shook her head then looked up at me.

"I guess it's best that you did call the friendship off. It's not healthy for you." I looked away which was a bad idea cause Mia shouted soon after.

"What the hell is that?!" I looked back at her.

"What?" She took out her phone and told me to turn my neck again. I did and held it for a few seconds. I turned my head back and she showed me a picture of my neck with two small holes in it. "O-oh..."

"Are you gonna turn into a vampire?" Mia started to panic.

"N-no I'm not I promise. I'm okay." I partially lied. I know I'm not gonna turn into one since Jason tried killing me. But no I'm not ok because I ALMOST DIED! But it's fine. I should be fine now.

"We have to tell Mom and Dad about this." Mia went to her contacts and was about to call our mom but I quickly took her phone and stood up from the couch.

"No!"

"Why not? You're not safe around those people." She stood up and tried to grab her phone back but she couldn't take it.

"I shouldn't have even told you about it in the first place so their gonna flip if they find out. And I can't just randomly leave. What about Emily and Abigail?"

"You can still video call them or whatever. But you can't be going to that school anymore if that boy still goes there." Mia kept trying to grab her phone.

"Stop it Mia. You're not telling mom and dad. I will smash your phone if I have to." I was being serious. I don't want them to know. I really don't. Mia stopped trying.

"Ugh fine. But you better stay away from them. And any other vampires for that matter." I handed Mia her phone back.

"I already know." The rest of this year is probably gonna suck.
