(Jade)

About 20 minutes go by after I got off the phone with Derek. I grabbed a few strands of my hair and started twirling it around my finger since I was getting extremely worried about him and Jace. I've been on edge pretty much ever since me and Jace were kidnapped. I know it wasn't for very long but it felt like I was stuck with Xavier forever.

I was about to call Derek again but then a cloud of smoke started to form and both him and Jace appeared. I quickly hugged Derek and we both almost fell to the floor but we were able to catch our balance. I let go of him and hugged Jace. Before I let go of him, I kissed him on the cheek.

"Ok now everyone's here. Where should we start?" Emily asked and looked towards me. I started looking around me before coming to a conclusion.

"Let's just start my room. I'm pretty sure we have some boxes in the garage. I'll ask my parents to buy more when we run out." Everyone nodded in agreement and we all went up to my room. When we got into my room, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out and saw that my mom was calling so I answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey honey. Me and your dad went to Mia's bakery and we're gonna be here till she closes so she can come to the house and help pack."

"Oh ok. Everyone's here so we were just gonna start with my room."

"Oh ok. Well we'll be there soon. Love you." I then heard my dad shout to the phone.

"Love you sweetheart!"

"Love you too dad." I hung up my phone and put it back in my pocket. "I'm gonna go get a few boxes." I left my room and went to the garage. An just as I thought, there were quite a few boxes in here still. I was about to reach for some but I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket again. I took it out and saw that I had another text from unknown.

Unknown: I'm sorry about your friend. I just got so angry when I saw him and remembered all the things he's done to you. I just had to do something.

Jade: Who are you? And who are you talking about?

Unknown: Derek I believe his name was. I'm too angry at him to care about what his name is.

Jade: What did you do to him?!

Unknown: He hasn't told you? You can ask him if you want. I need to take care of some things. Text you soon love ❤️

I grabbed a few boxes then turned around to start heading back to my room but Xavier was standing right behind me. I screamed and tried throwing the boxes at him. I huddled into a corner and started to cry.

"Please go away. Stop doing this to me." I felt my chest tighten and it was getting harder to breath. I felt his hand touch my arm and I quickly pushed it away. "Don't touch me." I started crying more and more and my chest started to ache.

"Jade it's ok. It's just me." I heard Jace's voice over my crying. I slowly looked up and saw everyone crowding around me. I slowly calmed myself down and was able to stop crying.

"W-where did he go?" I stuttered and quickly looked around the garage.

"Who?" Brandon asked sounding confused.
