"Taraji POV"
5 years later
"Mom, Dad says he's awake." Zoe said peeking her head into Jade's room as I picked some of her toys up from the floor and put them in one of her many toy baskets. This girl is so spoiled, I swear Lucious buys her anything her little heart desires. She has way to many toys.
I turned around to look at her with a smile on my face as I closed my baby girls door on my way out of her room and headed to the nursery across from our bedroom.
I walked in and there stood Lucious holding our baby boy. Zander Lucas Lyon, 5 months old, born on Lucious's fathers birthday. In the middle of us singing happy birthday to my father in law my baby boy decides that he doesn't want to celebrate in my stomach, he wants to come out and sing too.
Zander has the exact same eyes like his father, while Jeremiah's lightened and is now light brown like mine. He has the same complexion as his brother and sisters though with that same slick curly hair that grows wildly atop of his head.
My handsome baby.
I went over to them and Lucious smiled my way as Zander stared up at his father.
"Look who's here. Its booby time." Lucious spoke to him and he smiled my way.
"Don't start Lucious." I said
Ever since he was born he's been a booby boy, that's all I'm good for. I don't know how he does it but every single one of our kids are daddy's babies. I expected my sons to be mama boys but nope. Lucious is their hero till the day they die.
I can admit at first I was a bit jealous but then I saw the way he interacts with them. He speaks to them in the softest tone ever, never yells. Unless its time to discipline Zoe and the twins. Or when Zoe thinks its a great time to backchat me. Lucious doesn't tolerate any disrespect towards me or him at all. I've never heard them tell him no the way they do me. I'm glad they're good kids though, always respectful towards any person they meet.
