"a lot of yellow you're wearing today, hmm?" baekhyun asked when yixing walked into the starbuck's door. yixing smirked.

"thank you for noticing, baekhyun," yixing said. yixing was wearing a mustard yellow sweater, a yellow button up shirt, some black skinny jeans with yellow patches on the knees, and yellow converse that complimented his jacket. he looked really, really good, but it was a lot more yellow than most people would wear. he even went as far as to put in temporary blonde streaks in his hair.

"you look hot today," baekhyun said seriously, "or, hotter than normal. it's like you actually tried with your appearance today. it wouldn't happen to have anything to do with a certain brunette with a god-awful sense of humor?"

"junmyeon said that yellow is a crusty color," yixing said, "you sure i look good?"

"hotter than the sun," baekhyun said, then snorting, "as bright as it, too."

"hey, i'm not joking around. i look alright, yeah? the goal is to make him fall in love with the color," yixing said, pulling on a yellow beanie but making sure some of his front hair was sticking out so that the blonde streak wouldn't be covered.

"really, yixing hyung. you look like a model," baekhyun said, "love the blonde in the hair. it adds a special touch. is that permanent?"

"no, it'll go away when i wash my hair," yixing answered, smiling, "thanks, baekhyun."

"so, trying to impress junmyeon?" baekhyun smirked, "it's been what, three days and you're already whipped?"

"shut up. this is just to make him like the color yellow," yixing denied, shaking his head as baekhyun passed him a hot coffee. it was a bit colder out today.

"right. entirely for making him fall in love with the color, and not with you, right?" baekhyun asked, sipping on a latte.

"right. besides, people don't fall in love after three days," yixing said.

"some people fall in love in a minute," baekhyun said, "besides, in your case, you've been pining after him for two months."

"mm, well, we really just met each other," yixing shrugged, looking at his yellow g-shock watch. ten minutes until junmyeon would come, "all the time in the world to fall in love."

"but you do like him, don't you?" baekhyun asked, yixing nodding with a little smile, "and he likes you?"

"yeah, i think he actually does," yixing said happily.

"great, because chanyeol and i were working on ship names, and we haven't come up with anything good yet," baekhyun said, "what about suxing? chanyeol's friends with his roommate, sehun, and apparently some of his friends call him suho."

"suxing?" yixing questioned, "i don't know. doesn't feel right. but hey, if we're going with nicknames, i've got some people back in china who call me lay."

"lay?" baekhyun asked, "why?"

"i didn't tell people my actual name since i moved around so much when i was younger. instead of giving my actual name, i would give that name, and would keep my distance from everyone. it became a habit to introduce myself as lay as i grew up, and people started to call me that. it kind of stuck."

"lay. that's cool. layho? no. sulay?" baekhyun said, then grinning, "hey, i like that one. sulay."

"you're such a fanboy," yixing laughed, shaking his head.

"it sounds good though, right? sulay. i'm gonna put that on a t-shirt," baekhyun said determinedly. yixing laughed.

"make me one in yellow," he said, shaking his head at baekhyun as junmyeon walked through the doors. he stopped when he saw yixing, eyes wide and a blush settling on his cheeks. yixing grinned when he saw him, dimple poking into his cheek and altogether making junmyeon's heart stop.
