junmyeon woke up without anson screeching at him, surprisingly enough. he glanced to his side, seeing anson and jaemin still asleep. they weren't kidding about sleeping in for once. junmyeon checked his alarm clock. it was ten. he grabbed his glasses, putting them on before carefully crawling out of bed. he went to his restroom, quietly washing his face and brushing his teeth before silently heading to his kitchen. he started on breakfast- french toast. anson's favorite, coincidentally enough.

he hummed quietly to himself as he cook, having gotten extra sleep really put him in a good mood. he knew he was stressed about something last night, but he couldn't remember what. he added a little bit of cinnamon to the french toast, giving it a little kick.

"hey, myeon," sehun said, watching junmyeon make breakfast. junmyeon froze up. that's why he was stressed.

"morning," junmyeon made out.

"i'll break up with him if you want me to," sehun said. junmyeon sighed, turning around to face his best friend.

"i want you to," junmyeon said, watching sehun's face fall, "but i couldn't let you do that."

sehun breathed out a sigh of relief, "oh thank god, cause i really like him."

"that's why i couldn't let you. if you like someone you don't let them go because someone else told you to," junmyeon sighed, "and if you actually do like him, i'm not gonna be the person to stand in the way of that."

"th-thanks, myeonie," sehun said.

"just... just don't tell him, alright?" junmyeon asked, "please?"

sehun nodded, leaning in to hug his best friend, "okay, hyung... i won't tell him."

junmyeon didn't have a clue that sehun was, in that moment, a liar.

"alright, jae, we gotta get you home because tomorrow's a school day," junmyeon said. immediately anson began to whine.

"oh, come on, momma, can't he stay?" anson asked as jaemin started lacing up his shoes.

"i wish, but his mom probably wants to see him, right?" junmyeon asked, sighing as he dealt with this every weekend, "besides, he doesn't have a uniform and yours would be too big for him."

"so? he's wearing my shirt anyways," anson said, pointing at the shirt that jaemin was wearing. jaemin looked down at it, as if he was just now realizing it wasn't his.

"oh, oops," jaemin said, "i'll bring it for you tomorrow, annie. i'll wash it at home."

"nah, it's fine, keep it. i was just trying to make a point," anson said. jaemin stood up, done with his shoes.

"i'm ready," jaemin told junmyeon.

"come on, annie, we gotta take jaemin home," junmyeon said, "or you can stay here. your choice."

"i'll go," anson sighed, knowing he lost this battle.

"alright, let's go, kids," junmyeon said, opening the door for the both of them. he watched as jaemin instantly started walking besides anson, closer than normal. he always did this when he had to leave. junmyeon just figured that jaemin was sad to be leaving, since he basically lived with them at this point.

"so dramatic. they'll see each other tomorrow," junmyeon shook his head as he mumbled to himself, getting in the car. he glanced to the back, making sure both boys were in, which they were. it didn't take long for junmyeon to pull up to jaemin's house.

"alrighty," junmyeon said, we're here."

"okay, thanks for having me," jaemin repeated the phrase he said each time he got dropped off at his house.
