yixing had been in a trance for the past few days. he didn't eat unless luhan came over and actually forced him to eat. it seemed the only thing he could do was cry and feel sorry for himself."come on, ge, you have to eat," luhan said, watching his older brother with sympathy. he knew this would happen, but he just wanted it to end.
"i'm a father," yixing mumbled, "i have a son. he's five years old. his name is zhang yixing."
luhan snapped.
"for the love of god, ge, snap out of it!" luhan exclaimed, catching yixing's attention, "yeah, guess what? you have a kid! you just found out about him four days ago and you're acting like this! imagine how hard it must be for him and stop feeling sorry for yourself! you didn't know, fucking deal with it! he's gone five years without a dad, do you understand how hard that must be for him! you can sit here and cry all you want, but he's still out there, not knowing who you are! he deserves a dad, and not one that spends his time on the couch and crying!"
yixing blinked, luhan leaving and slamming the door shut. he knew luhan was right. anson was young. he could still be his father.
but what if he doesn't like me?
yixing swallowed, drying his eyes. he had a son. his own father sucked, but that doesn't mean he was going to too. he was going to be present, he was going to shower anson in attention. and if anson didn't like him, then he would somehow convince him to.
yixing showered, changed, and fixed his hair. it was his first time meeting his son, he had look at least somewhat decent and not like he hadn't gotten up from his couch in four and a half days. it was friday morning. he could have him for the weekend if anson agreed.
"okay, here we go," yixing said, texting luhan for junmyeon's address. luhan responded with it, saying that he asked sehun. yixing sighed, putting it in the gps. he must have circled junmyeon's house five times before finally gathering up the courage to park in the driveway. he slowly walked up to the door, ringing the doorbell.
"i'll get it, uncle hunnie!" an adorable voice called. yixing's heart stopped. was he ready for this?
too late.
anson opened the door, slowly looking up at yixing. his mouth dropped open.
"oh my gosh," anson said, staring up at yixing, "you're zhang yixing."
"yes... you know who i am?" yixing asked.
"of course! i'm like your biggest fan! jaemin, come look at who's here!" anson exclaimed. another shorter kid ran up, mouth also dropping open.
"you're- you're-" the kid gaped, "annie, why is the zhang yixing standing at your door."
"i'm his father," yixing said honestly, sending the two five year olds into another state of shock.
"you're my- what?" anson asked, "UNCLE HUNNIE, CALL MOMMY!"
"easy, kiddo," sehun said, walking up to the door, eyes sparkling, "hey, yixing. come on in. junmyeon's not here right now, he's at work."
"okay," yixing said, sehun picking up both five year olds and moving them out of his way so he could enter.
"you're my- zhang yixing is- what's happening?" anson asked, confused.
"annie, i totally told you," his friend told him, eyes sparkling, "i completely called this one."
"uncle hunnie, is this true?" anson asked his godfather. sehun placed anson and jaemin down on the couch, yixing staring.
