Kit did not know Ty cussed like that. But, oh, the way his tongue curled around the Christopher was too much, and Kit pulled Ty closer by his waist, feeling his skin through the fabric.

He got up, pulling Ty with him. Their lips attached and locked, and for the first time, though Kit did not remember, he knew it was their first because Ty had gasped when Kit ran his tongue over Ty's lips.

But Kit dared to try.

When Ty gasped, Kit snuck his tongue in to meet Ty's, his fingers working up and down Ty's back. Ty had placed his hands cautiously on Kit's shoulders.

It only served as a reminder of Kit and Livvy's kiss.

Kit shrugged it off, because this was Ty and there was only one Ty in the eternal universe forever and ever; the one standing in front of him, the one that allowed him to do things Kit had never done with anyone else before.

His tongue fought battles with Ty's.

I know I once was in love with you.

Kit's hands ran through Ty's hair, the way he had always wanted to.

You're so damn irresistible.

Ty's fingers brushed the nape of his neck.

Whoever said you couldn't?

He turned to push Ty against the wall, to get closer.

I think I'm addicted to you, Kit.

They clutched as each other desperately, perhaps making up for lost time, perhaps a reconciliation, perhaps atoning for the mistakes they had made in the past.

Perhaps forlorn lovers. Kit, from what Ty had told him bashfully, realised it was the third time they were kissing, and well third time's a charm, isn't it? Three always seemed to be a pretty magical number. The curly black strands that were Ty's hair fell over his fingers; his t-shirt moved against Ty's dark grey one.

His eyes were just so damn beautiful.

A dark sort of grey, like his shirt, when he fought; a clouded sort of grey, when he was lost in his world of books; no grey at all, right now when his eyes were shut, his senses more active and he could feel everything.

They heard a noise. Ty's eyes flew open, darting around. They parted. Instinctively, Kit's hand fell over his whip and he noticed Ty had took out a seraph blade, yet to be named but awaiting.

The door literally flew open, and Ty tackled Kit to the side before the door could slam into Kit. Ty rolled onto his knees, and in his hand was no longer a seraph blade, but a throwing star.

He aimed an underhand throw and Kit saw the surprised expression on his face when the sound of the star wasn't heard. His runes glowed lowly on his skin, his hair brushing his eyes.

Kit looked up to see why the star didn't hit anything.

It was contained in a blue ball of magic, which could only belong to Magnus. Indeed, several rings reflected light off themselves on the light brown skin covering the slender, smooth fingers. Magnus' cat eyes glinted darkly.

"Pretty good reflexes," Magnus said, wriggling his fingers. "Except I'm pretty sure I wasn't the intended target."

"You weren't." Ty stood up, brushing imaginary dust off himself. Kit scrambled up too, wondering how on earth Tavvy wasn't awake. What kind of superhuman slept through a door crash?

"Neither was the door crash," said Magnus, tossing the throwing star to one side. "But quite a spectacular entrance, don't you think?"

"Sure was," muttered Kit. "Are you here to save us, or are you Annabel in more glamours going to apologise? Because I won't accept it. Not even if you give me a cookie. And that says something, mind you—ow!"

Ty kicked him swiftly to shut him up. "Found Jonathan yet?"

"What the heck kind of question is that? How is he supposed to find Jonathan without anything—"

"He's been captured by the fey." Magnus fiddled around with his rings. Great. Constant interruption was the way to go. Incredibly polite. "Kieran said he saw a Shadowhunter with black hair in chains at the Seelie court."

"How would he know that?" Ty asked. Of course, always with the logical questions.

"The Queen brought it to them when they were having a little tea session," replied Magnus. "Have some fun with my current Shadowhunter prisoner, eh? Kieran saw that it matched the Shadowhunter we are looking for, because Mark told him."

"Are we going into faerie land again?"

"I'm afraid so, Kit. But one advantage for you is that your faerie powers will work much better in fey lands, if or when the need arises. You'll be much more powerful."

"We had better set a plan then." Ty began to pace the room. "We can go request an audience with the Queen over Jonathan. Find out what she wants in return. Then you can talk her into a deal, right?"

"Yes. We won't bring Jace because the Queen hates his brother, so no Clary. We won't bring Izzy because she's had some bad relations with the Queen, so no Samuel either." Magnus seemed to ponder. "Perhaps Julian."

"Yes Julian," Ty insisted. "He's the best negotiator. Also, his name is Simon."

Magnus ignored that last statement. "Fine, we'll bring Julian and Emma. That makes six of us. One more thing."

"What?" said Kit and Ty at the same time. Huh, cool.

"Whatever's going on between the both of you..." Kit began to blush. "In all my years, I've seen many dumb couples break up because of dumb reasons, for example 'she stole my cookie!'."

Kit started to argue. "I would break up because of that. I mean, not with Ty of course, but like... it is a valid reason."

"I just hope you're not one of those couples, breaking up because Kit had a memory loss."

"When were we a couple—" Ty began.

"We won't break up because of that," Kit said, cutting Ty off. Hah! Revenge!

"I wouldn't be so sure," said Magnus darkly. "It took Sean and Isabelle so long to reconcile."

"Simon," corrected Kit.

"Shall we get going?" Magnus gestured at the now empty doorframe. "Wouldn't want to keep our dear Queen waiting for an appointment we haven't booked yet."

"As you wish," said Ty. It was one of those rare moments when Ty was being serious, but not quite. They woke Tavvy, and their odd little group disappeared into a Portal, the house crumbling away to dust behind them.
