I was a little nervous to get this one right, but i'm very excited for you guys to see this side!!!! let me know what you think ((:

LEA'S POV

"Are you staying a while?" Raina asked me as we pulled into their driveway.

I looked form her to her brother. He was on the phone with someone, i wasn't sure who, but they had been talking since we had picked Rai up from the diner with Kameron.

He wasn't saying much, whoever he was on the phone with was doing most of the talking, but he seemed interested in whatever they were telling him. He was listening intently and nodding while occasionally agreeing.

I looked back to Rai, "I'm not sure, he hasn't said yet."

Of course i wanted to. I wanted anytime with Jonny I could get, but would he invite me to stay? What would we even do? It was already 10pm.

"Well you are welcome to, but your girl needs a shower," she gestured to herself with wild eyes. I laughed, Rai was funny. She was completely herself. She didn't seem to care about what anybody thought about her, I want to be like that someday.

She gave me a squeeze before waving at her brother and running inside. She smiled at both of us, but i could see the exhaustion from more than just lack of sleep behind it all.

I felt bad for her. I couldn't imagine what I would do if Jonny treated me the way Eli treated her. He was constantly pulling her in and pushing her away. If she stuck with him she would be quite a woman.

But i wouldn't blame her if she didn't. It also didn't help that Jonny hated Eli, which again, was understandable. He hadn't made the best first impression.. or second.. or any impression for that matter.

He may have said he liked him more than Kameron, but that was more of a hit on Kameron than a boost for Eli.

I knew he didn't like Kameron because he thought he was 'soft'- boys are so weird. Like what does that even mean? He was sweet and caring and he had a good heart, but we all knew that he wasn't the guy for Rai.

She didn't need someone to baby her, just look at her. She was a fire on her own. She needed someone who could not only handle it, but encouraged her to burn even brighter.

She was honestly a light. She made everything brighter, and she didn't even realize it.

Our group wasn't like this before her. We were all fighting and angry at the world, but then she came along and showed us how to enjoy everything. She had that type of personality that just drew you in.

I had never felt like i fit in, not in school or even with my family, but with Rai around- she made everyone feel like they fit right where they were.

She was quickly becoming the big sister i never had.

I hope Eli didn't ruin her.

"What's going on in that pretty head?"

I jumped even though Jonny's voice was barely over a whisper. I hadn't realized he had gotten off the phone. I turned to him.

Ugh. He was so dreamy.

And did he just say my head was pretty??

Ugh. Just look at him.

He was a man, too. Like a hot older man, and he was looking at me??

Why? I have no idea. Just look at him.

He was in a black shirt with a flannel over it, the sleeves rolled up, and dark jeans. His long hair would look feminine on any other guy, but not Jonny. Jonny somehow made the messy hair look tough and mysterious.
