*These are modern songs because I couldn't live without them so let's pretend they exist in 1965

Two Bit: His favorite song would be Fight for Your Right by the Beastie Boys. He prefers fun songs to serious songs.

Steve: His favorite song would be Heroin by Sleeping with Sirens. He of course would never let the gang know, since it's a more serious and soft song. But he'll deny it to the grave.

Ponyboy: Ponyboy likes the song All Signs Point to Lauderdale by A Day to Remember. He likes to replace "Lauderdale" with "Tulsa." It brings out his angsty side and reminds him of how he wants to get out of here when he grows up.

Dally: Dally would like the song Caroline by All Time Low. He also doesn't care much for serious songs and has woNDERFUL TASE but won't admit it. He says he doesn't like music.

Cherry: Cherry's favorite song is Heavy Soul by You Me at Six. She feels like no one really knows how deep she feels things. That she's just written off as a heartless soc. The song makes her feel like she's worth it.

Sodapop: Sodapop has two! The first is for when he's in a down mood. It's Someway, Somehow by DREAMERS. He feels like he isn't good enough and let's everyone down. He can cry to it- but it's a real bop tho. The second song is a happy song. It's Check Yes Juliet, by We The Kings. It makes him feel like he can do anything.

Darry: Darry's favorite is Too Young To Feel This Old by You Me at Six. It's pretty self explanatory. He feels like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders and just can't seem to support all the gang. Let alone his brothers. He wants to keep them out of trouble and hates that they have to see their older brother turn into their parent.

Johnny: Good Old Days by Blink 182. Sure he realizes he's living the good old days right now. But he's worried they'll pass too quickly and something will happen before he gets to live out his time with his friends. But for now he tries to enjoy them. - "you're not the only one who grew up feeling scared"

these just got deeper as they went on whoops
