So these are just basic high school stereotypes that I think they would be if I had to choose.

Dally: Dally would the art kid surprisingly. He'd always doodle and draw and his favorite part of the day is his art class. Of course he'd never admit it. He just sits in the back of the class and pouts, despite the fact that he's having the time of his life. He's realllly good at sculpting and no one knows it.

Johnny: lil Johnny would be the goth. He'd comb his bangs down across his forehead and put on eyeliner. He couldn't care less what people think of him. He's got worse problems. OH and his jean jacket would have spikes on the shoulders

Ponyboy: The smart kid. Of course everyone makes fun of him cause he only gets good grades and responds to everything with "sorry I've got to study." But Darry puts a lot of pressure on him to be who he is. He wishes he could just get a B for once and show everyone he's not a huge nerd.

Steve: The guy who's been through the 11th grade longer than it takes to get through high school. He'll forever be the 30 year old sitting in the back of your AP Bio class.

Sodapop: you already know this one tbh. Soda is the drop out. All the girls loved him and then one day he disappeared. No one said anything. He just left and everyone was like ??? Hot boy???

Two Bit: Two Bit is a theatre kid. He's very very good at being dramatic. Whenever he gets a part he'll always announce it to the gang ~in a dramatic way of course~ and they would all be really proud of him.

Darry: You probably thought jock didn't you? Nope! Darry is a skater boy. Just because I like that idea. Sure he's good at sports but he prefers to skate in his spare time. He tried to teach Dally some stuff cause Dally wanted to be "cooler." But the only thing that was cool was the ice on his ankle after that.

Cherry: Cherry is the glow up. In middle school she went through a phase like everyone does. But freshman year she came back and BADA BANG everyone was after her. Can't relate.
