Slow updates I'm having a crisis
Darry: Whenever you can't sleep you tend to get up and watch TV. Or just walk around aimlessly. Darry knows this because after hours of tossing and turning he'll feel you get out of bed. But he knows what's best for you so now every night he makes sure he's holding you around the waist so you can't get up. If he's not asleep he'll hold you close to him and play with your hands until you fall asleep. He always helps you relax when you're in a restless mood.
Ponyboy: Ponyboy likes to read to you. You hate sleeping alone. You both have recurring nightmares and have trouble going to sleep. He relaxes when he gets to read to you and you feel safe knowing he's there. When he gets tired he'll kiss you goodnight, cover your ears with pillows, and scream for Soda to turn out the lights. Every night. Like clockwork.
Dally: Dally is soft for no one. Not even you. But he hates to see you toss and turn and grumble in your sleep. And he knows what will calm you down. ~it's him~ Dally's got a deep voice with a heavy NY accent. And for you it doesn't get any better than that. Whenever you're too sleepy to watch TV but too awake to sleep, he'll hold you close and tell you about his adventures in New York in a low voice. But sometimes when he's extra tired he'll just hum softly until you both fall asleep to let you know he's there. But his voice man. HIS VOICE.
Johnny: Johnny is actually a really good singer. And none of the gang know. Except maybe Dally when he walked in on him that one time. But Johnny was so livid that Dallas promised never to tell. Johnny will sit in the floor, against your bed, and sing to you when you can't sleep. Sometimes he'll hold you hand. But when you wake up he's always gone. It doesn't really matter to you though, as long as he's back the next night. Like that weird flute playing dude in scooby doo.
Steve: Steve is cute. If you're super restless and frustrated about not being able to fall asleep, he'll carry you out to his car. He'll put you in the front seat with a blanket and turn on some soft music and just drive. He makes sure to drive past the towns or cities where there are lots of light. In summer he'll roll down the windows a bit and let the warm night air in. You're never awake to see him pull back into the house.
Cherry: Cherry likes to play with your hair. I mean who wouldn't, it's gorgeous. But whenever you're particularly moody, and kept up because you're busy wallowing, she runs her fingers through your hair and pretty much makes you melt. It puts you to sleep every time.
Sodapop: uM if he can put Darry to sleep, he's an elephant tranquilizer to you. His famous back rubs have you out like a light. Whenever you're stressed or tired or sad he's always right behind you. Rubbing your shoulders like that creepy gym teacher in the 7th grade who has like eight criminal offenses now. Schools really need to do background checks. And I really need to stay on topic 🙃. But yeah Soda can put anyone to sleep with his back rubs.
Two-Bit: Two-Bit loves Mickey, sure. But for you he'd watch anything. When he sees you tossing and turning in bed he'll sweep you up and carry you downstairs. Then he'll turn on your favorite show and wait until you're dead asleep to carry you back upstairs.
