"Why don't ya eat a salad sometime Two Bit?" Dallas joked knocking two upside the head. Two choked on the massive bite of cake he was working on. You stood away from the crowd of hungry boys and away from the table of food Darry had made, in fear that you'd cave and come off your diet. Cause for you, some gentle persuasion could lead to 10 more pounds. So you'd wait for them to finish.
No one seems to notice you as they dug into the feast on the table. You were lucky your boyfriend, Johnny, wasn't here tonight. He would notice you weren't eating and you wouldn't hear the end of it.
"You need more food than that y/n!"
   "Have you lost weight?"
"Skipping meals is bad for you!"
You mocked him in your brain. But you knew he was only worried. Doing what any good boyfriend would do. Truth is, you hadn't eaten since yesterday morning and it was now 6pm. But Johnny was away with Pony on a school trip and he wouldn't be back until tomorrow. His nagging would have to wait.
When you looked up nearly all the food was gone. "Saved some for you y/n!" Soda called pointing to a plate he'd fixed. Oh Soda. Too nice for his own good.
"I'm alright Sodie I ate earlier." You said grinning. You walked off toward the living room when Steve spoke behind you.
"Hey you're lookin awful pale there y/n are you sure you're feelin alright?" He got out of his chair and felt your forehead. He seemed surprised to find that your forehead was cold rather than hot.
"Yeah Steve I feel fine." You brushed him off. But truth was you weren't feeling too hot yourself. Dizzy and disoriented. And cold, when did it get so cold? But you guessed that's what happened when you don't eat for a day and a half.
The boys all gave you a suspicious glance but seemed to forget it quickly as they started playing cards or reading the newspaper. Or in your case, going to watch TV. But you didn't make it that far.
The dizziness took over and knocked you off your feet, right beside the couch. It just couldn't have waited until you got to the couch could it. You banged your ass on the hardwood floor and heard the boys come running.
You could hear someone talking and you could feel them there but your vision was blurry and your ears were ringing. You held out your arms trying to find something to hold onto and your hands met another pair of rougher hands. Your vision began clearing and you found that you were clutching Dally while he, and the whole gang, were looking down at you alarmed. Your hearing came back slowly.
"Can you see us? Are you with us y/n?"
"Look at me can you look at me?"
"Should we take her to the doctor?"
Came some of the questions asked by the 5 boys around you. You let go of Dally reluctantly and sucked a deep breath in. And everything was clear again.
"I'm okay. I'm fine. I don't think I've been getting enough sleep." You said trying to get back up and onto the couch.
"Woah woah woah." Dally said pushing you back down. "It's got to be something else.. you don't faint from lack of sleep. Maybe we should see a doctor?" He seemed genuinely concerned. After all you were Johnnys girl.
"What have you eaten today?" Two Bit asked. "Maybe your blood sugar is low."
"Uhm. A peanut butter sandwich and toast for breakfast." You lied
Two nodded but Darry looked at you confused. "We ran out of bread yesterday y/n.."
"Who said there was bread on the sandwich."
  You sighed. Yeah you're screwed.
"Why don't you give y/n and I some time alright?" Dally said looking to the rest of the gang. They nodded and headed anywhere but the living room. When you were alone Dally sat down beside you and looked you in the eyes.
"Now why don't you tell me whats really goin on doll." He said. "And don't lie cause I see right through you." Your empty stomach churned.
"I'm on a diet, Dal. Maybe my body is just getting used to it.."
  "A no food diet?"
   You sighed. "Something like that."
You heard the phone hang up and Soda walked in.
"Johnny's on his way back with Pony right now. Said the trip was a bust anyway." He said.
You groaned. "No! Please tell him to stay. I don't want to be the reason he leaves."
"But Y/n, he wants to leave. He wants to be here for you."
"We all do." Dally added squeezing your shoulder.  "Now let's get your blood sugar up before Johnny gets home."

Everything would be okay when Johnny got home.
