"You BITCH!" She screamed out of the drivers side of her Stingray. You were speed walking down the side walk- trying to ignore your girlfriend.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU TOLD HIM!" She yelled again. You heard the engine get louder as she sped up.
You'd had enough. "PULL OVER AND MAYBE WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT!" You turned around and screamed back. You didn't even care that people would hear. This was greaser territory- you could fall asleep to the sound of a rumble if you had to.
"Oh HELL. NO." She Yelled. Her tires screeched as she sped up even more. She was taking you now. "YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'LL SAY ABOUT US. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'LL THINK!" You could hear the heart break in her voice. And you did feel bad- but there was nothing that you could do now. Soda knew you two were together- because you'd told him.
"CHERRY COME ON! PLEASE IM SORRY!" You Yelled. You just wanted her back now. But she wouldn't listen.
You had an idea. A bad idea. But you had to do what you had to do. You veered off the side walk into the street. Cherry was far enough away to slow down- and you knew she saw you.
"CHERRY-" You Yelled. "WE CAN WORK THIS OUT. FUCK WHAT THEY THINK OF US- BECAUSE IN A FEW YEARS OR EVEN A FEW MONTHS THEY'LL BE LONG GONE."
She was slowing down a little- but still coming closer. If she hit you it wasn't going to kill you.
And she kept getting closer and closer, those few seconds seemed to last forever as she steered her red stingray right toward you.
You closed your eyes, fully ready for her to run you over. You deserved it.
But the only thing you heard was a car door slam and someone sob. It was Cherry, coming toward you with open arms.
You hugged her tight and sunk down to the street.
  "I lo-love you." She hiccuped.
"I love you too" You said with tears in your eyes. "You wanna know what Soda said?" You asked.
She just shook her head. She was sure it was something horrendous.
"He said he loves the both of us and wants us to be happy- and he's going to try and learn." You told her. She sniffled.
  "Really?"
   "Really."
   She smiled a little.
"Sorry I almost hit you with my car..." she said looking sheepishly at the ground.
"And sorry I outed us to Soda."
    "I forgive you."
"I forgive you too." You said.
You went home- this time both of you inside the car.
