Introduction.

Dear Diary,

It's been awhile since I last wrote something so my sentences might be a bit rusty.

Well, I've finally been discharged from the hospital and my body feels much lighter now. I hope this will be the last time I'll be sleeping in a hospital bed, it's just so uncomfortable.

I sure have missed seeing my family and friends. Before I headed back home, I made sure I visited my mother's grave to pay my respects. She protected me throughout my whole life and kept me safe. But she wasn't the only one that had my back.

My friends were also supporting me from afar.
My dad told me that Jinhee is taking classes in a University while Beomgyu is in a kpop group. No words can describe how proud I am for those two. They've been working hard for their goals while I've been doing nothing besides writing in diaries.

Anyways, I'm just glad that I'm safe back home. After a couple of days of settling in, I'll probably work on my career too.

I took a long deep breath as I closed my diary and placed it back onto my bookshelf.

Leaning back against my chair, my eyes wandered everywhere around my bedroom looking at each decoration and furniture piece there was. It was exactly the same as it was before.

I guess my dad locked it up for the whole time I was away.

"What's this doing on the floor?"

My eyebrows furrowed as I saw a white piece of paper beside my foot.

I picked up the piece off of the floor and gently blew some of its dust away. A small grin formed on my lips as I stared at it.

It was a picture I took back in my high school years.

"It only feels like yesterday.."
