It was midterms week. The week where every student doesn't get a sufficient amount of sleep as well as proper time management with their assignments. A time where your distress comes pays a visit.
This would be the case for none other than Lee Mirai herself.
Even though she did have a serious condition, her family still didn't tolerate failing grades, sadly. Her mind was so occupied with the whole ignoring Taehyun thing that she completely forgot about studying for midterms. But on the bright side, she's friends with him once again.
Right now, Mirai needed to focus on using her time properly in school and get enough studying done with her friends.
"Geez, history class was boring as always", groaned Beomgyu as he headed to his lockers. The other two girls followed from behind as well.
"I still can't believe our teacher gives us a group project in the middle of midterms. It's so ridiculous" Jinhee was the most affected by this since her history grade wasn't looking so pretty.
Mirai agreed with both of her friends about this. "Right! It's as if she wants us to fail on the exams"
The three both released a sigh together while trudging down the hallways.
"Speaking of which, do you guys wanna head to the computer lab to study?" Jinhee asked as they all stumbled upon the computer lab that was to the right of them.
"I'm in!" Beomgyu chimed.
"Yeah, that'd be a good idea!" Nodded Mirai. She then noticed another one of her friends, walking in the same direction as them, giving her a good idea.
"Hey Taehyun, do you wanna tag along?"
"Hm?"The boy lifted his head up, gazing upon the three. "Where are you guys heading to?"
"The computer lab for some studying," told Beomgyu.
Taehyun looked at each one of them one last time not sure if he should take up that offer. He never liked studying since he relied on that genius memory of his to help support him. However, since Mirai was going to go study with them, he might as well spend some quality time with her.
"Yeah sure, I'll go"
Mirai's face beamed from hearing his response. She may have feelings for him, but she knew that ignoring Taehyun wasn't the best option. It simply added more conflict.
Jinhee clasped her hands and before speaking, "Alright then, I guess that settles it!"
Beomgyu and Jinhee headed inside the classroom first while the other two followed from behind.
