It was finally lunch and Mirai and Jinhee met with the other boys in the Music Room. Along the way, Mirai volunteered to buy their snacks and drinks from the vending machine down in the courtyard.
Once she made it down there, she took out the piece of post-it that had all of their requests written. They were even so kind enough to pay for their food ,so in other words, Mirai was more of the delivery person.
As she pushed the buttons to the designated drinks, group of girls huddled behind her. Just like last time, their eyes were deadly, sending chills down her spine.
"W-What the-" Mirai turned around to face them, trying to keep her composure. If she recalled correctly, she spotted those girls in the same class as Jeonmae.
"You're that bitch who stole Taehyun away from Jeonmae"
"What did you think you'll gain from doing that? Popularity? His love? Tch, in your dreams."
"You think we'll let you get away after what you did to her? She was so miserable these past weeks, crying and skipping meals all because of you"
Mirai was taken aback. She never once received such harsh insults before in her life. What actions specifically caused them to act this type of way, defending Jeonmae? How could being friends with one guy lead to such a commotion? She couldn't find the words she needed to address the situation properly.
"Look you got the wrong idea, I never did such a thing-"
"Shut up and apologize to her, you fucking slut!" One of the girls cut Mirai off, pushing her in the process. The strong force caused the girl to collide with the vending machine behind her. A sharp pain forming in her lower back.

"Oh my god, is that Mirai on the ground?"
Jeonmae was coincidentally taking a stroll with her close friend in the courtyard. Out in the distance, they both spotted a couple of ruthless girls surrounding Mirai.
"Eh? Is that her?" Jeonmae simply watched as Mirai was getting stepped, kicked, and dragged across the floor.
"Should we do something?" Her friend was covering her mouth, seeing the brutal scene in front of her.
Jeonmae stayed still, not answering her friend's question, and proceeded to watch Mirai get beaten.
"Hm"

"Mirai sure has been taking her time. I wonder where she went" Taehyun asked the others.
They were all playing the card game Speed while waiting for Mirai's appearance. Specifically, it was a match between Beomgyu and Huening Kai.
"She did mention she would be by the vending machine," Beomgyu said while placing his cards down.
