Day 3 (the last day)
"It's the last day," Jinhee, Beomgyu, and I both muttered as we sat down in our desk. My body was feeling tensed since it was the final day for my so called decision. Anything could happen.
Beomgyu tapped my shoulder from behind. "I haven't seen Taehyun in the music room so I guess, for now, you're fine"
"Wherever he is, I'm still going to say-"
Right when I was about to speak, he entered the room. Kang Taehyun. The three of us watched him walk to his seat carefully. I was feeling nervous from the amount of pressure that was weighing on my shoulders.
"Something is off" Jinhee whispered.
I turned back to the girl and furrowed my eyebrows. "Hm?"
"Taehyun didn't even make eye contact with you. Do you think he forgot?"
I looked back at the boy and noticed how Jinhee was right. He didn't do his usual pranks on me yet. Is it because it's the last day?
"It's not like him to forget something that big" Beomgyu stated. "Let's not worry about it!" He waved.
I took Beomgyu's advice and turned my body to face the board.

It was finally break and the three of us decided to walk around the school and talk. We usually take a route that is closer to the classroom of our next subject.
"Did Taehyun pull off anything yet?" Jinhee asked. I shook my head and didn't make contact.
"Maybe he feels bad about you and decided to delete the footage"
I shrugged at Beomgyu's assumption and continued to walk on. We strolled down the hallways in silence until we saw out in the distance, a crowd of students heading to the gymnasium.
"What's going on in there?" I asked as I tried to get a peek inside.
"I don't know. Break is gonna end in 3 more minutes, let's just go"
Jinhee pulled on my sleeves and leashed me away from the gym. I was still interested in what was happening inside but brushed it off.
"Wait!" Beomgyu grabbed my hand while having a worried face.
"I don't wanna miss out with the fun!" He said, pushing me and Jinhee into the crowd.
"Huh?"
Jinhee and I were now shoved inside the gym that was completely filled with students. Pretty much the whole entire school was present.
I narrowed my eyes to the middle of the court. I was a bit puzzled by the huge white cloth that was placed in the middle of the court.
"Woah, even the projector was set up"
We stood on the side of the court and waited for what was getting the whole school hyped.
"Even Principal Namjoon is here" Beomgyu mentioned to the both of us.
Jinhee yawned before she spoke, "Let's just hope this is actually worth my time"
I agreed with Jinhee, this was probably gonna be those boring school fundraising announcements that the student council announce literally everyday.
"How's it goin students and faculty!"
We all lifted our heads to the voice that was echoed through the microphone. My mouth almost dropped with what I saw on stage.
"No..fricken..way.."
It was Taehyun.
"Hold on, could it be that he's actually gonna project the video to the whole school?" Jinhee reasoned, placing her hand on my shoulder.
My face was heating up while chills traveled down my spine. This was a whole new level of scary.
"I brought you all here so you can all see this special footage I found a few days ago," Taehyun continued to speak.
"No...no.," I shook my head slowly. My feet were planted on the ground with shock that I couldn't confront him right there. Why wasn't I moving.
"Mm.." Even my chest was starting to hurt. I can't stress over this or else I will collapse and faint. Stay positive, Mirai!
"Mirai, does it hurt?" My vision was starting to get a bit blurry but I was able to see who was talking to me.
"Beomgyu I'm fine, don't worry about me," I said, brushing his arms off of me. Inhaling a deep breath, I was back to my normal breathing.
Lifting my head back up, I faced Taehyun again with more confidence. He would make side glances at me to signal myself if I was ready to face the consequences.
