Uh oh...
Taehyun gave me a questioning look. "Yo what's wrong? You look like you see a ghost"
My eyes shot wide open with what I saw. It was Jeonmae. Her long wavy chestnut hair and her smooth light complexion made it no wonder why Taehyun fell for her.
She is literally a perfect definition of beautiful!
But what got me even more shocked was she was being accompanied by a guy I've never seen before. The way they were smiling and giggling with each other only made it more obvious that they were dating.
Interesting how some people recover quickly from breakups.
"Mirai?" Taehyun was now waving his hand over my face.
"I- um...well Jeonmae is with a.. you know...another g-guy" I stuttered. Seeing Taehyun's rather confused reaction made him reluctantly turn his head. Now we were both staring at the cruel scene in front of us.
This is not gonna be good i tell ya..
Just by the way he stared at the two made it even more obvious how furious he was.
"Hey Tae-"
Before I could finish saying his name, he got out of his seat and headed to their table. I followed behind but from a safe distance away from him, so I wouldn't interfere with what was going to happen.
"Who the hell is this??" He asked Jeonmae in such a harsh way. The girl's joyful expression soon faded away after seeing Taehyun.
"Aye what's your problem? Who do you think you are trying to talk to my girl like that? "
Jeonmae's boyfriend now approached Taehyun intimidatingly, limiting the spaces they were away from each other. It looked like the two were ready to throw hands at each other.
"shut the hell up" Taehyun shot back. "I wasn't even talking to you in the first place so sit your dumbass back down."
"What did you say!-" he pulled onto Taehyun's shirt and dragged him closer, giving him a fatal punch in his stomach. I winced from the gruesome sound of the blow and quickly got to my feet to pull Taehyun out of there. Even Jeonmae had to hold back her man.
"Hey!! Knock it off you two!!" I exclaimed.
They were now recklessly kicking and punching each other with all their anger and might. The tables and chairs were now being toppled over. We even gained the whole store's attention and their frightened faces made it even more embarrassing.
"Stop it! Stop hurting each other you guys are making a complete fool out of yourselves!!!" Jeonmae yelled, making the two break it up. They were covered with bruises all over their faces.
"I need to have a word with you outside" Jeonmae aggressively told Taehyun, dragging him out of the cafe.
After they left, I turned around to face the workers and customers. "I am completely sorry for the inconvenience we caused! I'll pay double the cost of what we ordered and clean up the mess too! So sorry for our recklessness!!'
And when I mean 'we' I only mean Kang Taehyun..
Taehyun's POV
"Taehyun enough is enough!" She said with complete stress in her eyes. I didn't know what to feel at the moment. Angry because she's now dating some random jerk. Guilty because she looks so stressed out and so done with me.
"How can you say enough is enough! We broke up from a healthy relationship not so long ago and now you are dating that nobody inside of that café??" I blurted out. "Jeonmae I'm still in love with you.." I was on the verge of crying.
"Past is past, Taehyun. We were simply acting foolishly with our feelings in that relationship...." she sighed.
"You need to move on or you'll keep causing both of us problems and drag other people into your mess!"
I kept my head hung low and didn't bother making contact with her. The way she said those words made it seem like I'm nothing more but a wreck.
"If you really cared about me, you would accept the decisions I make even if you are not in the picture. So please, don't you even dare do something like that again or else I will never EVER forgive you" with that message stuck into my head, she went back inside the cafe.
So many unanswered questions and thoughts still lingered in my mind. I love her with all my heart. I would always put her first in everything I'd do. I treated her with so much care and delicacy because she was my angel. But I just don't get it.
"Where did I go wrong?..."
Mirai's POV
After I was done arranging the tables and also having to listen to the manager's scolding and lecture, Jeonmae comes back inside the café still having the utter disappointment in her eyes. Taehyun sure caused her trouble....AND ME MOST DEFINITELY!!
Before she headed out, I had to also deliver my apologies to her.
"Hey Jeonmae, wait!" She turned around and calmly grinned, wondering what was up.
"I-I'm really-...., look I'm just very very sorry about everything that has been happening to you. You really don't deserve all the trouble we've caused."
Jeonmae's smile grew even bigger as she patted onto my shoulder gently. "It's okay" I returned the smile back and nodded.
"Just do me a favor....please look after Taehyun" she said.
"Y-yeah, don't worry Jeonmae. I'll look after him" She pulled me into a quick hug and calmly whispered, "Thanks, Mirai"

Did I do the right thing?.... No, don't think about it. Once Jeonmae and her date were at a good distance away from Taehyun and Mirai, she relaxed herself as they walked on.
"Damn that idiot of a guy..." he mumbled, tapping in his bloody lips. Jeonmae gazed upon the boy next to her and examined his cuts and bruises. She felt bad that their hangout was ruined but there was nothing they could do about it anymore.
"Hyun-Seok... Sorry about that" She croaked.
The boy shook his head and smiled. "You did nothing wrong so don't apologize" The girl remained quiet and kept her head low. She had nothing else to say so she checked her phone if she had any messages.
"Hm?... Yeonjun texted me"
She was confused as to why he texted her so she checked out what he had to say:
Yeonjun Hey did you tell him how you felt yet?
