"You didn't walk with Mirai this morning?" Taehyun asked as he saw Beomgyu come in the classroom alone.
Beomgyu shook his head. "Nope, she's probably walking with Jinhee or something, why?"
"She hasn't been answering my texts or calls"
"Ahh, I see." Beomgyu scratched the back of his head, thinking of some possible explanations for the girl's actions. "Probably Len hid her phone from her"
The boy sighed. "I hope that's the case. I can't help but worry"
Beomgyu patted Taehyun's back. "She's fine, don't overwhelm yourself" he reassured, taking the desk next to his.
There was only a couple more minutes before first period was going to start, and there was still no sign of both of them. The last person to come in the classroom was their other close friend, Huening Kai.
"Where's Jinhee and Mirai?" He asked, scanning the room for the two girls.
"Not sure, this is the first." Beomgyu furrowed his brows, starting to get a bit worried as well. "I'll go text Jinhee"
Their teacher then came in the room and class proceeded as planned. The boys wondered where the girls were, but were slowly starting to not give much thought about it as their minds were becoming filled with the lessons in front of them.
Then suddenly, the door opened to reveal Jinhee. She was 30 minutes late and she didn't have Mirai by her side like normal. All eyes were on her while their teacher gave her a stern look.
"Jinhee, you're late" She said, crossing her arms.
The girl cleared her throat before approaching her teacher. "Hi sorry for my tardiness, but I've..."
Jinhee started whispering to her, trying to keep their conversation more private. This started to make the three boys worried.
"Oh dear, is that so... Okay dont worry, I won't mark you as tardy" The teacher said, opening up her laptop to the attendance document.
"Thank you"
Jinhee walked to her designated seat in front of Beomgyu.
"What happened? How come Mirai isn't with you?" He whispered to the girl only to receive a downcasted expression from her.
"What's wrong?" He softly mumbled, noticing the face she made.
The girl shook her head, not saying anything else.

Once class was over, students went out to enjoy their break. When Jinhee left to go to her locker, Beomgyu followed from behind, wanting to know what the girl was hiding from him.
